Chapter Twenty Three

"Ky wake up! We are going to be late, we start up again today and we are going to be late. Wake up sweetheart." Juliet was yelling to me. I laid there for a moment blinking and trying to figure out what the hell was going on and all at once it came to me. Tour. Pictures. Today. I rushed out of bed so fast that I tripped and fell and hit the little part of wall we actually have in this bus that's not enclosing the bus. 

"FUCK!" I yelled. 

"Are you alright Ky?" Cc asked. 

"I'm fine but I think i'm going to have a full body bruise." I said.

"Oh you are such a drama queen." Said Ashley.

"Whatever! You know when I bruise It takes forever to go away." I said. 

"Okay people we don't have time for this just everyone get ready." Juliet said.

We all bustled around getting ready as quickly as we could. We were finally all ready and we headed out the door. We were five minutes late for sound check but luckily it didn't take long to do the sound check and we actually ended up with a few extra minutes so I took some test shots of the band and some of just Juliet. She doesn't have to go on until this afternoon but she still comes with me and helps me when I do the shots of the band. 

"Okay we are going to go get positioned to take pictures. We will meet you back at the bus when it's over." I said. 

We got a collective see ya later from all of the boys. 

We went and got in prime picture taking position and after a few minutes they introduced themselves and were off with the music playing. I started taking pictures and after I took around 200 pictures Juliet gave me a different lens and I took around 300 more with this lens and took the lens off and gave it back to her and I did different settings and then back to normal settings. I was also walking around the front of the stage where the security is and took a few shots of them and the crowd and just took pictures of the band at different spots along the stage. I got a stellar picture of Andy looking right at me with his lovely piercing blue eyes. Okay Ky snap out of it there's only one song left and you still have to take pictures of them. I pulled myself out of my Andy thinking and continued to take pictures. I got individual shots of each of them and I got some more good ones of the crowd. They finished their set so me and Juliet packed up my stuff and headed back to the bus since we were no longer needed because they have a different photographer doing meet and greet pictures, plus I need to eat something and check my blood sugar because I feel low after all the moving around to get great pictures, but I have also been a bit dizzy lately because of this new shot the doctor started me on. We had an E-vist a few weeks ago and I sent her my pump and meter download and she said this shot would help with the highs that I've been having lately. She also said I need to check my blood sugar more often because my last a1c was 8.3 and we can't have that. 

I waited until we got back to the bus to check my blood sugar, it was slightly low at 74 so I drank some grape juice and ate a sandwich. I put in for the sandwich but not for the juice because that is what I took for my low. 

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked Juliet.  

"Yeah, do we have any small snacks like almonds or anything like that?" She asked.

"I think we might have some trail mix left the one with the peanuts, almonds, dried strawberries, m&ms, and dried bananas. Do you want some of that?" I asked.

"Sure that actually sounds really good." She said.

"Doesn't it though. I think I might have some too." I said grabbing the bag of trail mix. "Wanna listed to music and eat our trail mix until the boys get back?" I asked. 

"Sure." She said. 

 About 15 minutes into listening to music I decided I wanted to get a hair cut and maybe dye it. 

"Are you any good at cutting hair?" I asked Juliet.

"Not really, but we could go to the salon and get your hair done. We have a few hours before my set." She said. 

"I kinda want to get it cut and colored. What do you think about getting it lightened and then getting like a red ombre?" I asked.

"I like the lightening and getting it cut part but I don't think you should do red maybe pink or like a lightened blue?" She suggested. 

" I could see a lightened purple maybe? What do you think about that?" I asked.

"Yes girl like a lavender. That is so your color, plus purple goes pretty good with the colors you wear." She said. 

"I'm just going to text Jake and tell him where we're going so the don't think something bad has happened to us." I said.

After about 3 hours at the salon we were finally done and still had an hour and a half to spare. They cut my hair shoulder length and lightened it so now it's lighter brown plus lavender tips. Juliet also got a few streaks of lavender in here hair which looks so amazing, we also got our nails done. My nails were a kind of french manicure with the same lavender color as my tips and she got hers full lavender with little white daisies on her pointer fingers. 

We walked into the bus and the boys were in the back of the bus with pizza from Domino's that smelled absolutely delicious. 

"Damn laddies you look good." Ashley said as we walked back toward them.

"Thanks." We said in unison. 

"You look really nice." Andy said staring at me.

"Thank you." I said back to him. 

"Awe look shes blushing." Cc said. 

"Oh can it Cc." Jake said. 

"Well girl I think lavender is really our color. Our hair looks bomb and so do our nails." Juliet said to me. 

"Oh it is definitely our color there is no doubting that." I said grinning at her. "So did you guys get us pizza too?" I asked. 

"Duh! We know you would kill us if we didn't. Ky we got you bacon, green pepper and extra cheese, and Juliet we got you Philly cheese steak." Jinxx said. 

"Share?" Juliet said.

"Definitely." I replied. So we split our pizzas 50/50 like we usually do and just hung out until it was time to go to Juliet's set.
