Author's Note

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone out there who is reading this book. Writing Flawed hearts has been an absolute blast, I loved every part of it even though most parts were hard to write.

Najmah's a very complex character, her emotions, thoughts and actions were the most hardest to put down yet somehow, I enjoyed writing about her.

SPD is one of the most undermined mental disorder and I chose to write about it because I've seen the damages it causes. It destroys relationships, people around that person don't understand what he/she is going through and they write it off as being rude or arrogant.

This book was inspired by a very dear person to me and it is written in dedication to her and to each and every person suffering from anxiety, depression or any form of mental disorder, you're all warriors and you deserve to be happy.

Writing the ending was bittersweet because I know that I will not be able to come back and talk to you guys anymore. You all mean a lot to me and I hope you'll be there to support me when next I start another project here on wattpad.

Regarding other matters, I know that most of you if not all are confused about Aslan and Najmah's second marriage.

According to Turkish law, two marriages take place; the traditional and civil marriage. The traditional isn't legal binding and is not considered under the marriage institution hence why they are getting married again to legalise theirs.
