In somewhere in Africa, a little cub is jumping around as the father lion is trying to get his attention.

"No, no, son. Over here."

The father is holding up a rattle toy of a lion and shakes it rapidly. The cub is still too distracted.

"See the lion? Look at the lion and get the lion."

The father sighs, then grunts in annoyance.

"Now, son, if you're gonna grow up and be like your daddy someday, you gotta learn how to fight.

"Da-da." The cub touches his father's nose and chuckles.

"Alakay, let me show you something, OK?"

He puts out his right paw and show his son.

"You see this mark? You and me are the same. When you're bigger, you'll be alpha lion, just like your daddy. Now let me see you fight."

The cub growls at the toy.

"Ready?"

Instead of getting ready to charge, the cub goes back to dancing around and giggling.

"No, Alakay. No dancing!"

The father looks at the cub, but couldn't be mad at him for a long time. He picks up his cub.

"You just amuse yourself, don't you? You'rea strangekid. You'rea strangeone. I'm..."

The cub starts making faces and moving his paw.

'Ooh, ah, ooh, ahh."

The father chuckles again.

"Now, come on, let's try it again. No, Alakay. Stop that right now. Doggone it!"

Just a few inches away from the two lions, there was another lion in the tall grass, looking at the scene. He comes out and starts speaking to the father

"It's so disappointing when they don't grow up the way you want."

"Makunga. You're not challenging me again, are you?"

"Look on the bright side, Zuba. After I defeat you and take over as alpha lion, you'll have more time to spend with your pathetic excuse of a son."

The father gets angry,  but the cub is still dancing in the background, minding his own little world.

"Before I kick your butt, let me ask you: Why do you want to become alpha lion?"

"I'm better looking, I have better hair, I'm deceivingly smart... and I want everyone else to do what I say."

The father groans.

"We'll fight on three. One..."

The father gets his son's attention as the lion starts to sneak up behind him.

"Pay attention, Alakay. Daddy gonna show how it's done. Two, Three!"

The lions start fighting as the father is winning the match. As the cub looks, he is being distracted by a butterfly passing his view and follows. As he walks away from the two lions, he sees a big rope, with a note at the end, laying on the ground in front of him. As he touches it, the rope moves away and the cub follows it through the tall grass. Back at the two lions, the father holds Makunga in place on the ground  with one arm behind his back.

"Who's the alpha lion?"

"You are."

He let's go.

"And don't you forget it. And that, Alakay, is how you attack..."

As he turns around, his son is not there no more. All is left was a rattle.
