Chapter 6 - The Sun, The Moon, The Truth

The last few days I've been learning, more about supernatural creatures. Today is full moon night, the night when werewolves loses all their control, my friends trusted me to help lock them so they can't hurt nobody. But there's this animal thing named kanima, who apparently is some friend of Scott the Alpha, and they want to kill him because he is killing a lot of people. So, this won't be a good night.

We've been stalking the Scott's friend, Jackson, to see if there's something suspicious we can find. Nothing, until he looks at his hands and they become greenish. That means he doesn't have total control. He ran to the bathroom of the gas station and Luke went after him.

"Be careful!" -I told him worried.

"I will" - he kissed my forehead and left.

We couldn't see anything so we were all nervous waiting for Luke. Minutes after, Luke gets out of the bathroom running in our direction.

"So?" - Calum said nervously.

"He almost killed me in there, apparently he's some kind of lizard, but he doesn't have control with the transformation so, hopefully it will be better to catch him." - he explained.

Tonight Calum, Scott, Stiles, Malia and Sydney will come after the kanima, and I will lock Luke since he still not has control. Some hunters will help them catch the kanima as well.

Luke kept breathing faster while it was getting darker, I locked him in the basement, but my heart was beating fast, what if he gets out, what am I going to do? He might kill me. Scott taught me one thing if something goes wrong.

"If he gets out, you tell him to say: The sun n the moon, the truth. It will help him to calm down." - I remembered his words.

I can hear him owling, the moon was already shining.

I was shaking while hearing the door of the basement almost breaking, I try to calm down. As I feared Luke broke the door as I saw him for the first time as a werewolf, he looked totally different! His eyes were yellow glowing and he was mad, I tried to calm him down hoping to work.

"LUKE, LUKE, LISTEN TO ME, CALM DOWN, WHAT ARE THE THREE THINGS CANNOT BE LONG HIDDEN?" - I shouted.

He looked at me and said:

"THE SUN...THE MOON...THE..THE TRUTH" - he tried to calm down.

"SLOWER" - I told him.

"THE SUN....THE MOON...THE TRUTH..." - he said getting better.

"AGAIN!" - I said.

"The sun..the moon..the truth" - he said while he was turning back to human.

He looked at me smiled and hugged me. I guess he could feel my heart racing because he hugged me tight.

"Are you okay?" - he asked me.

"Yeah, you almost killed me but I'm okay." - I joked.

"Are YOU okay?" - I asked.

"Yes I am!"

We looked at each other and then went running through where the others were.

I saw Sydney, she was exhausted and hurt, I helped her and bring her inside.

"Did you guys found the kanima?" - I asked.

"Scott did, he doesn't want to kill him but Calum says he has to die. The kanima is locked, while they argue." - she explained.

After a while Scott came inside crying and he hugged me. I always felt like he hated me, because my friends trusted me with their secret, but I know that he's sad, he lost his best friend! It's hard. While I was hugging him I was feeling his heart beating so fast. I can't imagine going through that! Having to kill his own best friend because he became a ... monster.

"It's okay Scott! I know it's hard, but it's for the best." - I told him

He gave me a smile. I guess he's too hurt to even talk. We all get it.

Luke came running and said that Stiles got hurt and it's on the hospital! Like, can this night get even worse?

We all went to the hospital and waited there all night since we couldn't get in.

"Susana, you should go home. It's 4 am and you are exhausted!" - Luke said while I was almost falling asleep on his shoulder.

"No, I'm not leaving you here! If you stay, I stay! Plus, Scott needs us. He's going through a hard time." - I said.

"But you have to rest, I stay in here!" - he said.

I just fell asleep on his shoulder while we "argued" and his chin was resting in my head. I didn't sleep that much but I was happy with our little moment. A few days ago I told Luke I love him and he said: NO! I love you. I think he's grateful that I'm still dating him even when he told me that he's a werewolf! And that's beautiful.

Thankfully Stiles is okay and he can leave the hospital tomorrow.  Scott is sad, so, as normal people (that we aren't!) We all decided to go watch a movie to see if Scott feels a little bit better.

For a whole hour trying to figure out what movie we should watch we finally decided we are going to watch The 40 year old virgin. Comedy!

We all laughed the entire movie, and Scott did too. At least something cheered him up! But now we all remembered we have an exam tomorrow and we all freaked out, and we had to study! My mum had some friends at her house so, since I love to study on cafes me and Luke went to one and studied together.

"There's no way I'm going to pass this!" - I said.

"Are you kidding? You will! You always will." - he told me.

This is why I'm always grateful to have Luke next to me!

After 3 hours of studying (and some breaks!) We finally decided to stop and it was getting darker.

"See you tomorrow babe! Please, get some rest. Love you." - he said goodbye.

"See you tomorow. I will babe. Love you more." - I kissed him.

I was going home and found Calum and Sydney making out on a bench.

"Studying hard, hum?" - I teased them.

"Susana? Hey, we were just..." - Sydney said.

"I know exact what were you two doing!" - I said.

We laughed.

"Have to go! And go get a room you guys!" - I laughed.

"We will!" - Calum said.

*Next Day*

The terrible sound of the alarm was killing my beautiful dream again!

and went to school. I wasn't mentally prepared for the exam and I was pretty sure I was going to fail! And apparently I wasn't the only one! I went to school and I saw people sitting on the stairs and actually studying!The first time I see people here, studying and freaking out about the exam!

"So, the school is going through a crisis" - Luke joked.

"I've never saw this amount of people studying!" - I said.

I felt worse when the bell rang. Time for the exam, the exam that probably could change my life. And I wasn't ready, at all!

I guess was seeing that I was freaking out because he gave me a kiss on my forehead and walked with me.

After 1 full hour of plenty mini anxiety attacks, I finally finished the exam! And I wasn't that confident with the result. I kept thinking about the exam and I noticed Luke was...CHANGING? WHAT? NO! NOT IN HERE! I grabbed his arm and we run as fast as we could to the forest. I went to Scott's house asking him WHY IN THE HELL IS HE CHANGING DURING THE DAY?

"Maybe there was something that made him mad, since he still hasn't full control, he can change when his pulsation races!" - he explained.

"We had an exam today, maybe it was that!" - I said.

"Yeah, maybe it was." - he agreed.
