Chapter 3 - Claws

It was Sunday and as usual, we have family lunch, which i hate so much to be honest! My aunts always bring the "So, how's the boyfriend" conversation, and i never had one, it's not normal because girls with my age had a lot of boyfriends, well, guess i'm not like the other girls.

The lunch was...fine! It's always the same thing we are all used to it, but my family does it a long time ago we're just maintaining the tradition. After 3 hours the lunch was done and everybody left,me and my parents were just lying watching tv and then i received a text from...LUKE? How did he get my number?

*Hi Susana it's me Luke, i asked Sydney for your number because i have a surprise for you, meet me in 10 on the park near school, Ly*

This is getting weirder, why is Luke making a surprise for me? It's not even my birthday! I had no idea what was going on here. Since i was in my pyjama pants, because i was making plans of staying home, i had to change and i put on this:

I went to the park and Luke was there sitting in the floor with a towel, and a basket, it was a picnic!

"Hey Luke!" - I said smiling.

"Susana! Thanks for coming!" - He smiled really hard and told me to sit.

"What's all this for?" - i asked surprised.

"Well, since you're kind of new and nobody did you a welcome party, this is my welcome party to you, and then we'll be getting to know this area a little bit better" - he told me.

We had the most beautiful picnic, he decided to put some music they were all good but then Amnesia came and we just looked at each other and started singing, this is my favourite song! I couldn't believe he liked it too! We were both surprised about it! And i couldn't believe Luke liked Pierce the Veil, Bring Me The Horizon, Sleeping With Sirens, Arctic Monkeys...like me! Then we went for a walk to know the area better! 

"Thanks for this moment Luke! This was really nice, nobody has ever done this to me, i can't thank you enough!" - i told him looking straight into his eyes while his blue eyes were shining like a star.

He didn't said anything he just gave me a kiss on the cheek and whispered in my ear: "No need to thank babe".

I was surprised, a boy has never done this to me, this was really special.

We all said goodbye and went home, since school was tomorrow i had to do my homework, and i wasn't feeling like it, but i had to, i have to graduate next year and probably go to collage, that's my plan for now.

I haven't seen Sydney all day so i just decided to call her.

~ Call ~

Sy:"Heeey Suu! How are you?"

Su:"Syd! Wow, you seem really happy! Anything you want to tell me?"

Sy: "Ahahahh not yet, tomorrow i'll tell you! And you? What's up with Luke?"

Su: "He invited me to a picnic and then we went for a walk"

Sy:"Mmmm, looks like there's something going on there"

Su:"Not really! We're just friends, ahahahha. Well, got to go help my mum, see ya tomorrow!"

Sy:"That's what you think! Ahahahha, Well then, bye, luv yaa"

~End of the Call~

To be honest, i didn't felt like something was going on between me and Luke, he was just being nice to me, i don't think there's something wrong with it, if he did liked me i think he would tell me!

 So, it was Monday again, i was feeling so tired today, i went to bed at 5am, because i watched a whole season of Game of Thrones and i surely didn't regret it, but then waking up at 7am, not good idea at all! Thank god there's make up to cover up the dark circles i had under my eyes!

Sydney was going to tell me the reason why she was so happy on the phone, i had no clue what was going to be.

"Sydney! What's up?" - i said when i saw her chatting with Calum near the lockers.

"Susanaa! Oh, yeah, i have to tell you something! Wait...(she said looking at Calum) don't you want to tell her?"

"Yeah, sure! I asked Sydney to be my Girlfriend! Yesterday, we went for a nice lunch in a fancy restaurant and i asked her." - he said with the biggest smile i've ever seen.

"OMG! I'm so happy for you guys! Congratulations, you look so cute together!" - i said

"Oh, and Luke tell me about the picnic, he's so into you!" - Calum told be while he winked.

Speaking of the devil. Luke was entering the school, i guess now it's true, Luke was..into me? 

The bell was ringing! Geography time! Not so excited about it.

It was being a boring Geography class, nothing interesting, but all of the sudden Calum got up and left the room, he was really angry, but, i swear to god it wasn't my imagination, Calum had...CLAWS? When he touched the table i saw big nails, kinda dirty. But..am i dreaming? Did i watched that many episodes of GOT? I just stood there thinking the whole class, was i going crazy? Of course i won't ask Sydney or Luke or even Calum about this, they will laugh in my face. If it was something that important going on they would tell me.

The class was over and Calum didn't showed up all day, Sydney was worried i could tell, it's like she wanted to go with him but she couldn't for some reason.

"Is Calum okay? He left the room really angry" - i asked worried.

"Y-Yeah. I'm, I'm pretty sure he's o-okay." - she mumbled.

As the classes were over for today i went home, and in my way home i went to a Cafe near it. I was just there drinking coffee and read a little. All of the sudden i feel someone sitting next to me.

"Heey" - Luke said very happy.

"Hey, what you're doing here?" - i said surprised.

"I saw you coming through this cafe so, i decided to make you some company" - he said.

"Hmmm, so, you're spying on me now? - i said goofing around.

He laughed. I could tell by his smile he was enjoying being there, with me, and so did i, is this what love is? Enjoying each other company? Because if it is, maybe i'm in love. But when you fall in love, you get hurt. Is there any chances that this tall, blonde, blue eyed guy would hurt me? Nobody knows. And i don't know if i was ready to know...
