Ardis' POV
I woke up to me bouncing, and three annoying voices that belong to my guy friends.
"WAKE UP WAKE UP WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Calum screamed.
"SHUT UP HOOD!" Michael screamed.
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" Ashton screamed.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Paige screamed as she threw the covers off of us and chased Calum out of my room. In case you are wondering, this happens every single morning, and has happened since middle school. I groaned as I heard crashing going on downstairs. I slowly got up and made my way downstairs. My mom's chair was knocked over, a picture was off the wall, and Calum was getting punch after punch from Paige.
"Cut it out," I pointed at them and Paige huffed as she got off of Calum, of course she threw one last, good, hard punch.
"BULLY!" Calum screamed as he held his arm.
"You want me to show-" I grabbed Paige by her hair and dragged her into the kitchen as she said ow the whole way there.
"Coffee?" She smiled as she jumped on the counter and waited for her salted carmel coffee. The boys walked in all dressed and ready for school, they all stayed the night last night.
"So who's ready for Home Coming?" Ashton asked as he pulled Calum out of my fridge.
"I'm ready to vandal–I mean decorate it." Paige smiled and I shook my head disapprovingly but had a smile on my face.
"You're not even on the committee Paige," Ashton pointed out as he munched on an apple.
"Doesn't mean I can't help decorate," Paige smirked and Calum chuckled as he moved closer to her.
"Couldn't agree more babe," Calum kissed Paige's cheek and she glared at him.
"Don't even Hood, you know I'm not anyone's." Paige sipped her coffee and I saw hurt flash in Calum's eyes as his smile dropped. He quickly covered it up before she could notice. I feel bad for him, he's been in love with her since grade school. That's when we met him, we met the other two in middle school, and we've been best friends since birth, literally. Our mother's were close friends, now we are.
"Anyway, we have ten minutes to get to school so chop chop." Ashton grabbed our coffee and Calum shoved us out of the kitchen.
"Jerks," Paige pouted the whole way up the stairs. We walked in and she went to her side of the closet as I rummaged through my dresser.
"Casual or lazy?" I asked as I turned and saw her already almost dressed.
"Casual," she smiled as she pulled the flannel on and slipped her combat boots on. I walked into the bathroom after getting dressed and frowned at my appearance. My best friend walked in and started doing her makeup. "Where's the mascara?" She looked around the counter. I smirked as I saw it in her hand.
"Check your palm," she did and glared at it. "You're so special Paige," she smiled and did her makeup as I did mine. I did mascara and some blush, that's it. Paige had mascara and black eyeliner making her eyes dark, she smiled and started brushing her teeth as I brushed my hair.
My best friend is gorgeous, she has long tanned legs, she is dark complected. Straight, long, dark brown hair in the winter and light brown almost blonde in the summer. Athletic build and she doesn't even exercise, long eyelashes, full lips, and her smile is full of life. I looked at myself and frowned.
I have light brown curly hair, I'm whiter then snow. My eyes, which by the way are my favorite part of me, are light blue. I have long legs and eyelashes, my lips aren't as full, I consider myself fat, and my smile is dull. I'm nothing compared to her, no wonder guys are on their knees begging for her attention. I felt a slap on the back of my head and I rubbed the now sore spot.
