In a nuclear apocalypse caused by nuclear war a girl Emma tries to survive and protect her little brother Scott she eventually finds a settlement but will they expect and trust her read too find out
Confused and scared people run around as the sound of bomb sirens blasts loudly in one of the houses a family runs to a secret bomb bunker under the house. The bunker is filled with complex and futuristic technology, four cryogenic pods stand in a straight line as the father of the family places his infant son into a pod made for him the mother says goodbye to her sixteen year old daughter as she prepares the pods. The young girl stands in an open pod "m-mom I'm scared" shes visibly shaking. The mother placed her hand on her daughters shoulder to comfort her "I know, but I'll be here when you wake up" the mothers says with a smile and a tear runs down her face as she closes her duaghters pod.

The parents quickly get in their pods, three years pass the bunker was silent and still until the four pods open after a few moments the girl steps out her pod as her young brother cries. She rushes over to console her crying baby brother "scott shhh it's okay" just then the girl realizes her little brother grew and noticed she had also grown a little too. She feeds her brother and changes his diaper carrying him as she goes to check on her parents. She stands in front of her parents open pods looking at them knowing they where both dead they're faces were tinted blue. In the corner of the room a radio looking box starts talking "Emma you need to stay calm" Emma looks over to the radio box. Painted on the front of the box is the name trixie "Trixie I thought you were broken". Emma walks over to the box She picks it up and straps it onto her belt as trixie responds "you left me down here two months after you made me". Emma starts packing a backpack with her brother strapped to her back in a baby carrier she runs to the second floor of her house and opens her dad's gun safe pulling guns and ammo out stuffing it into a duffel bag. After scavenging her house she stops by the door and pulls a framed picture of the family off the putting it into one of her bags. She stands in the door way of the house looking around as memories pass throught her mind.

she leaves the house and starts her dads pick up truck straps scott into the booster seat, putting her bags in the backseat and drives way.
