Third Person
A shiny black Camaro pulls into a parking spot, not far from the entrance to South Side High School, Home of the Panthers. The driver sits in the car as they took notice of the attention they had gained. The stares and whispers had started already. The black Camaro roared back to life and reversed out of the parking spot. The driver sped out of the gate of South Side High, wanting to get home.
As the driver took all the necessary twists and turns to their home, they started to realize how much trouble they would be in once they got home. Even though the fast driver doesn't live with their parents, they knew their cousin, Cameron Dallas would not hold back on the scolding. The college student had taken responsibility of his cousin so they could live peacefully instead of going through all the drama they had at his aunt's home before. He knew how to keep said driver in check. He knew how to get his words through their skull.
Cameron Dallas had occupied himself by organizing the house he and his cousin had bought together. He moved all the moving boxes into the appropriate rooms before he started to unpack. He started in the kitchen by putting all the pots, plates and bowls into the cabinets. Then, he put the silverware and utensils into the right drawers. Finally, he finished putting the groceries he had bought in the morning, into the refrigerator.
After putting everything in the kitchen away, Cameron decided to start unpacking the living room. He put the numerous amounts of movies into the entertainment center cabinets before actually unpacking the gaming consoles and TV. As he puts the last picture frame on the top shelf, he hears the familiar roaring engine of the black Camaro. Cameron dusts his hands on his jeans as he walk onto the porch of the one-story cozy house. He crosses his arms as one boot covered leg steps out of the car.
"Maya Elizabeth Burns! Why aren't you at school?"
Maya steps out of the car and smiles at Cameron.
"I decided one more day couldn't hurt."
And that everybody, is how Maya Burns got through her supposed first day of school.
