Neil stood there staring at Charlottes unconscious body, blood tricking down her cheek, and a large red mark on her cheek not even make up could cover. He thought he'd killed her, he began to sweat. He ran through the kitchen out the back door and to the oak shed, he grabbed a shovel and put it in the book of his Range Rover. He hurried inside and as he began to pick her up she launched her fist at him, hitting his nose so hard the blood shot out like a bullet, all over the new cream carpet. He fell backwards into the armchair, she pulled herself off the floor and ran outside to the car, not thinking she jumped into the Range Rover and drove to Jeanette's. On the way all she could think about was, was he following her. She drove as fast as she could, she lost control of the wheel, hit her head on the steering wheel and crashed into a roundabout. She woke up in hospital with doctors and nurses rushing around her, she let out a yell. She jumped out of bed and ran to a phone, she called Jeanette and demanded that she came.
Thirty minutes later Jeanette arrived. "What in Gods name happened?" Jeanette roared.
"I tripped on the rug and hit my head, then I felt drowsy at the wheel and crashed." She replied.
"You should have called me, I could have brought you here!" She yelled worryingly
The doctor came towards her and told her than she could leave as long as she took it easy for the next few days.
She arrived home to find Neil splashing bleach on the carpet to remove the blood. He glared at her as she entered. Jeanette entered behind her and introduced herself. Neil blanked her, he never took an interest in any of her friends, but he didn't know that Jeanette was more than just a friend.
