Chapter 5

Charlotte picked herself off the floor and just then her phone rang, it was her father. Her mother had had a heart attack. She rushed to the hospital to find her mother in a coma. Everyone was worried sick, DC Summerhayes walked into the ward brought her father in for questioning again.

He was questioned all night long and then they got a warrant to search his house, they entered and searched for an hour as they were giving up DC Summerhayes found a pair of Richards boots under the shed, they were blood stained.

He was arrested for his murdered and held on remand awaiting trial. Charlotte went to visit her father begging him to tell her were Jeanette was, he began to cry as he couldn't believe she thought he was responsible. She then became suspicious of her brother as he also knew of about her abusive husband. She went to the restaurant and asked him the same question she asked her father, he told her he had nothing to do with Neil's murder or Jeanette's disappearance.

Then she realised there was only one more person that could be responsible as she believed her son. It was her mother, it had to be. So she went to the hospital, she hadn't woken up. She waited in the hospital by her bedside for 9 days. Everyone believed that she was a caring daughter who was worried about her mother, but really she was a vengeful lover who had a strong temper.

After the 9th day she awoke and Charlotte grabbed her by the throat and begged her to tell her were Jeanette was, she told her exactly were and when Charlotte arrived she found Jeanette lying on the floor dead, with her mothers clothes around her covered in Neil's blood. She began to cry and ran to the car, she sped to the hospital and jumped in the lift and went to her mothers ward. She went to her mother closed the curtains and tore the drip out of her arm. She began to turn pale and she ran. She booked a ticket on the ferry to France, she left the country a murderer just like her sick minded mother who was never punished for double murder.
