The war started and the Kalabhadra's had brought cannons and elephants. Rudra was a little frustrated, but attracted the male elephants to a bunch of female elephants. The cannons were the real problem.
Sikander told Rudra to send a part of his army with watermelons. The army put some watermelons in the cannons secretly and sabotaged them. It worked. Sikander told Rudra to send some rats to the opposing army to reduce the strength of the army. It worked. Half of the army was reduced due to rats and the carpet set on fire.
It seemed like the Raudra's were on the verge of winning.
