The strategy of the Bhadira's was clear. Blind and Kill.

The strategy of Raudra's was to attack wisely. This was the plan of the jolly Rudra. The armies present at the corners will not attack the Bhadira army till the cannons throw a big carpet set on fire and kill most of the army. The corner armies would then attack. When the middle Bhadira army would attack, most of the army would be killed due to spears held by the soldiers together forming a V. Whoever would manage to climb up and in the V, the army standing inside the V would kill them and the Raudra's would thus win the battle.

Sikander, a commoner was listening to this plan and adviced Rudra that the Bhadira army could also have elephants, that can crush the soldiers forming the V and taking the Bhadira's behind itself, leading them to victory.

The king desperately asked him for a solution to the problem at hand. Without wasting a moment, Sikander told Rudra to place some female elephants outside and far from the V, who would attract the elephants as they try to impress the females.

Rudra was impressed with Sikander's simplicity and appointed him as the general of his army.
