"I want to move in with dad after graduation." I said to my mom. I was currently trying to convince my mom to let me move in with my dad for a while. But she wasn't budging.
"What? That's only a summer thing." My mom replied.
"I know but.. I'm 18 now. I feel like it would be an adult move to move to Miami." I began.
"You mean, you want to move out there because Austin is out there." She said as she wiped the kitchen sink.
"That too." I replied. "C'mon. I can't stay in this house forever. One day I'm going to move out." I continued.
"That doesn't have to be now." She added.
"Mom.. Please." I begged.
"How about we make a deal? You move out there for a little while and then if it doesn't fit you, you come home." She responded.
"Okay!" I squealed as I went up to hug her. What could go wrong with moving to Miami?
