Today was the day. Prom. Though, I thought I wouldn't be nervous, I had to admit. I was.
"You look beautiful." My mother said as she zipped up the back of my dress. I smiled nervously. "Nervous?" She asked as she tossed my hair.
"Yeah." I replied. My voice was shaken.
"Austin's here!" I heard my stepfather yell from the bottom of the stairs.
"I'll see you downstairs." My mother said as she closed my bedroom door. I put on final touches of my makeup and made my way downstairs.
"Whoa." I heard a familiar voice say. I heard cameras snapping. "You look amazing. More than amazing. You look.. Beautiful." Austin smiled pecking a kiss to my cheek.
"Hi Michelle." I smiled as Austin's mom pulled me in for a hug.
"You look amazing sweetie." She smiled.
"Our Austin is growing up." I heard Zach chuckle. I looked over to see Alex, Robert and Zach.
"Hey guys!" I smiled.
"You look wonderful." Alex replied. I exchanged thank you's with the compliments given. Austin and I took pictures as we exchanged the flower and corsage.
"Ready to go." Austin asked. I nodded as we made our way outside.
"Wait.. What?" I said confused. A limo. I didn't actually think I would get one. Though I dreamed of it. "Did you?.." I asked Austin. He shook his head confusedly. I looked over at my mother and stepfather as they smirked. "You guys?" I asked. My mother smiled.
"Today's your SENIOR prom. We thought we would do something special." She said hugging me. "And.. Your friends will be joining you both." She smiled. I looked over to see some of my best friends with their dates as they popped out the top of the hood. I laughed.
"Lets go." Austin smiled as we walked into our limo.
"Can I have this dance?" Austin smiled as he held his hand out. I nodded as I took his hand. Let's say a few Mahomies at my high school were still shocked that Austin was at prom with me and they kind if stared. More than they should have. A slow song began to play. Austin moved his hands to my waist as I pulled mine over to his shoulders. "You look wonderful." Austin smiled. I felt my face blush. "We've been dating for almost a year and I still have an effect on you." Austin giggled.
"Stop.." I giggled as I pulled my head into his chest.
"This reminds me of high school musical. When Troy and Gabriella are on the roof dancing." He giggled.
"Maybe you're my Troy." I smirked.
"Maybe you're MY Gabriella." Austin chuckled.
