Playing With The Lights Off (Discontinued)

Chapter 1

Darkness. It swims around you and doesn't leave. It surrounds the light and takes it away. In the darkness, light can not be made but only found but for some it's a difficult task to find. Most give up before they reach it, but hopefully I won't.

(Deadlox's P.O.V)

I sniffled and hugged the couple tighter.

"Bye Shelby, Zoe. I'm gonna miss you guys so much" I released them and they smiled too, tears also staining their faces.

"We are gonna miss you all too. Especially you skylar" Zoe said, kneeling down to her height and hugging her. Skylar sobbed quietly and hugged her back before giving Shelby a huge hug too. Melody, Shelby and Zoe's child gave skylar the next hug and didn't let go. They swayed slightly, sobbing in each others arms and I frowned. Poor kids, such a young love. Soon enough they let each other go and Melody gave her a kiss on the cheek before getting in the car. Skylar blushed and my frown turned upside down.

"Bye guys" they waved us off and the entire team waved back as they drove down the road. Why did they have to move to Wisconsin? I turned around to look at Mitch, Jerome, Ian, sky, Jason, skylar, Seto and Brice. Husky had moved away months ago to live with his girlfriend, Annie who died in a car crash. They all were sad but none of them shed tears like I did.

"Let's go guys" sky said, taking my hand and walked into the house. The guys followed and I plopped down on the couch, skylar rushing into my lap and curling up into a ball. I rubbed her back and sky cuddled us both.

"We better get going" Seto said.

"Us too" Ian said, holding Jason's hand. I nodded and waved them goodbye. Now it was just us and the merome couple. They cuddled on the couch, whispering comforting words to each other which I found adorable. I played with the ring on my finger and I felt sky squeeze us.

"So, enough of this depressing mood. Let's play some minecraft!" I said, jumping up and almost throwing skylar off my lap.

"I'm gonna go to bed. " skylar said. (Did I mention she's 13 now? How many years has it been?) I nodded kissing her forehead and walking upstairs. Every one followed and we grabbed our laptops.

"Merome vs Skylox?" Jerome teased.

"Bring it bitch" I challenged, starting the game.

(Timeskip)

"You always fucking win!" I screamed in frustration at Mitch, who just won his fifth game of hunger games. He just smirked and yawned.

"Let's go to bed" Jerome said, hugging Mitch's side before picking him up bridle style.

"Yeah, you two can sleep in the guest bedroom.". Jerome nodded and took Mitch out of the room who almost fell asleep in his arms. I threw off my shirt and pants and climbed under the covers, sighing in content. The bed dipped in front of me and I snuggled into the warmth as arms went around my waist.

"What an eventful day" sky mumbled, mindlessly playing with my hair. I hummed in an agreeing tone and started to drift off.

"I love you"

"I love you too" and darkness consumed me, but not for long.
