Whether you like it or not Sanem

Part 2

Sanem had, actually, woken up a few minutes ago and heard Can booking a chalet in the ski resort they are apparently heading to. However, she preferred to pretend she was still asleep. She got tired of fighting him, and at the same time, the idea of them spending some time at the resort alone together was so damn alluring and thrilling yet embarrassing as well. She really did not know what she was going to say to Can and how she was going to act, so she remained in her sleeping position with her eyes closed and she also started thinking about all the events of that day and how they ended up here...

That morning, Sanem entered that damn kitchen while Polen was adjusting his apron, as it slid to the side. "Yok yaaa," Can murmured, while hiding his embarrassment and cursing fate for letting Sanem enter before he managed to break free from the uncomfortable position Polen forced him into. Added to that was that Sanem did not come alone. That unnameable human being was with her, and Yigit was acting too affectionately with his Sanem these days that every time he had seen him in the past couple of days he had felt like just knocking him dead!

Sanem, seeing that snake crawling all over Can pretending to be just adjusting his apron, couldn't help but express herself:

"Wallahi bravo Can bey! You are not only taking photos of the food Polen will include in her book but also modelling for it! Or is it that you are thinking of changing your profession to something totally irrelevant like I did?"

Can broke free from Polen's grasp and took Sanem aside tand hissed in her ear,
"Sanem... You'd better not add another word and not address me in this manner."

For the first time for many days, Sanem felt a sudden weakness hitting her and her knees starting to melt like they used to every time Can held her close to him... Plus, has it suddenly become toooo hot in here?

Can, though still boiling inside from anger, was not less affected by her than she by him... That damn perfume that he thought he started to hate was causing the same kind of chemical reactions inside of him as before... but more than the perfume was the new defiant and strong character of hers... it was literally driving him insane, as it was so hot seeing her act this way, but at the same time making him feel like she is slipping away from him to Yig... that bastard coming in with her right now that deserves a punch in the face and a kick in the stomach...

"You have no right to talk to me like that anymore... you are literally no one to me starting from this afternoon, not even my boss! I told you I was leaving today and I will. I am moving my stuff to the new office below after this session!"

"Well just try and you will see what happens!"

"Ohhhh you are threatening me? Well we'll see!"

"Yeah, sure you will Sanem!"

Though sounding so confident and fearless, deep down inside, Sanem was a bit scared now. She had never seen Can, the cool and carefree guy, this mad before. His jealousy was fun at first, but now it is making her feel a bit uneasy. Did she do the right thing? Was she supposed to give in and accept his silent invitations to talk when they were at his place with the office people the other day? Was she supposed to be nicer to him and try to calm him down when they were locked together in the freezer?

Can also was all the time, even while angry and shouting at Sanem, regretting every single thing he did ever since that perfume story that led them both to where we were now. Every time he looked in her eyes, he was searching for a signal, just any kind of encouragement for him just to take her away from all around them and kiss her and apologise for every single thing he said when he told her it was over between them... and also tell her that if she told him to stay, he would stay... but she has surely changed to a woman whose actions he cannot predict anymore... a stronger woman who is sexier than before but at the same time less in need of him, hence the danger he was sensing...

During the cooking session, all the two of them did, despite the regretful thoughts they had earlier, was bickering and trying to defy each other out of desparation and jealousy.

Polen and Yigit were trying their best to keep their partners focused on them at first; but eventually Yigit gave up, and Polen was forced to stop when Sanem threw a container of water in her face while she was flambeing :)

This is when that cooking session came to an end. Yigit, not trusting his sister with the jealous Can he saw today, took Polen home. Sanem refused to go with Can and went home by taxi to change and then go to the office to collect her belongings. Can went to take a shower and then head to the office as well to see whether Sanem was going to do what she had threated she was going to or not.

When Can arrived at the office, he did not find Sanem there. He was relieved a little as he thought she had changed her mind for the tenth time and she was staying at least till the end of the notice period. But his relief did not last for long, as he heard Sanem's voice while she was coming from the floor below to take the last two things left down.

Can's eyes started emitting fire and without waiting a second, and not caring who was still in the office and how they would perceive what he was doing, he headed towards Sanem, grabbed her from her arm by force, and took her to the archive room...
