"This is my favourite moment, that moment a tribute... becomes a Victor," ~ Ceaser Flickerman.
Name: James Garnet
Age: 42 (turns 43 later this year (if he comes out of the arena alive/will actually be in the arena))
Personality/Traits: When he was a boy, he was the perfect career. Strong, trained for a long time and of course, good looking. But! Indeed, a but. Boys become men, and when James turned 18, he decided to volunteer. Only, to not be the standard career. He first gained the trust from the other careers, and murdered most of them in the night after the bloodbath. With his bow and a good filled back-pack, he went on a murder spree. He is quite cunning, but has his soft spots as well. He only won’t show the,
District: 1
Physical description: He has quite short black hair, and green/grey eyes. He has a small beard and mustache, but when he can he shaves them off. He has quite a bit of a tan, and still looks as muscular, maybe even more, as when he got Reaped.
Celebrity look-a-like: Tom Cruise
Game that they won: The 52nd Hunger games, at the age of 18.
Weapon of Choice and skills: Bow and Arrows, but works with throwing knifes and spears as well. Really prefers Bow and Arrows though.

James of District One - RedTears
I took one deep breath in. I slowly let go the air. This was the moment. The moment I had been waiting for all these years. We were down to the top 2. Every mistake would mean my death. And I was sure about what I was going to do.
I walked over to the empty field in front of the cornucopia, leaving my bow behind.
‘Tanya, if you want to kill me, come here then! I can’t take it anymore! Just come and kill me’ I said with the most desperate voice I could get out of my throat.
I knew that back home, I would be hated for the upcoming minutes. But after that, I would be the local hero.
It took her long. Seriously long. Just when I was wondering if I should leave, I heard a twig snap behind me. I turned around to see her standing there. Her face was covered in blood. ‘Sweetheart, are you here to finish me?’ I said. ‘One last kiss, to stay alive
This was part from a song my mother once taught me. Stay with me it was called. The Tributes used to sing that, in one of the first Reapings, as a tradition.
She spit out some blood on the floor, and came running for me. I had seen this coming. And I stood perfectly still. She was holding her dagger in position, ready to cut through my throat. 3 steps, 2 steps, 1 step…
I dodged. Tanya, expecting to hit something, stumbled a few paces. Although, she quickly recovered, turned around, and ran for me again.
Only, this was a mistake. In the time I dodged, I had taken out one of my arrows from the container on my back. She ran into one of the sharpest points to be found in this arena.
Tanya tried to run backwards, to hit me, to kick me. But she couldn’t. I was holding her at arm’s length.
With one push, I could hear the noise of the arrow sticking out of her back. Tanya’s eyes where wide in shock. I rolled my eyes. ‘I offered you to kiss me to stay alive… Unfortunately for you, you didn’t do that. Unfortunately for you as well, I also never planned on losing these games’ I said.
She still stared at me. Apparently, the one arrow wasn’t enough. I wanted to pull one out, but then thought of something. What would be more humiliating then…
I grabbed the dagger from her hands, and stabbed her in the heart with it. Her eyes widened even more in shock, as if that was possible.
‘Oh, how sad, a career getting killed by her own little toy’ I said, just at the moment that the cannon was heard. I didn’t know if she had heard me. I didn’t care.
I was a victor. I had just won the 52nd Hunger games! Just before I climbed the ladder to the hovercraft, I kneeled down next to Tanya. I kissed her on the lips. ‘One last kiss, to stay alive’ I whispered, before I left the arena for good.
