Blossom of District Eleven - sassmax
I held my pick axe tightly and wondered off to the boring cornucopia where I would fight against a seventeen year old named Calter and he was from district 8.
I hated him with a passion.
Actually I hated most people but Calter was beyond the word of hate for me.
I know your probably wondering how it could be behind hate well for me it just could.
The sky was getting darker and I growled to myself.
The only other people I hated beyond the word hate were the people form the Capitol and of course the nasty game makers.
Now I might not be able to find my way over to the cornucopia.
I guess il just have to get there faster.
I broke into a fast jog almost slipping a few times on the slippery but yet smooth rocks.
The cornucopia shouldn't be to far away or well at least now or shouldn't.
Really how far away could it be?
I could hear the sounds of waves crashing in the background and the trees blowing in the wind while there were birds chirping.
If it wasn't for this being the Hunger Games I may have even felt at peace here and that is something hard for me to do.
After another brutal two minutes or so the cornucopia was in sight.
The waterfall crashing onto the rocks and the sounds of birds chirping still in the air.
Calter was already here.
The sight of him surprised me because he was just sitting there or more like laying there and I couldn't see his eyes because it was still getting darker but I had this strange feeling he was crying which if I was certain I would of laughed in a different situation.
This was a great opportunity for me to kill him.
I don't even know if he knew If I was there.
Alright that just confused me.
With my pick axe I snuck up behind him and went to grab him but he jumped up as if he knew I was there and as though he was expecting that.
Well maybe that was the truth but how could it be he certainly isn't very smart I can tell you that now.
I shrieked as he attempted to grab me but I kicked him where it hurt.
It felt so good to do that to him.
Naturally I wouldn't be that cruel to poor innocent kids in the arena but I couldn't help it with Calter.
He was different to those poor innocent kids.
Take Seri for example she was twelve and died when there were twelve tributes left.
A shame too I was getting quite fond of that girl.
He yelped in surprise and his face contorted with pain.
I grinned.
Bringing my pick axe up past my ear ready to strike at him with the sounds of the cornucopia still being heard.
As I brung my pick axe down he tried to stop it but I killed him with one simple hit of the pick axe.
