"This is my favourite moment, that moment a tribute... becomes a Victor," ~ Ceaser Flickerman.
Name: Kharissa Askari
Age: 37
Gender: Female
District: Nine
Personality: Kharissa is a very outgoing girl who loves to have fun, and isn't necessarily the most quiet about her ideas. She is a bit of a loudmouth and definitely sarcastic. However, instead of all that irritating people, it tends to entertain them and make them warm up to her, no matter how many times she tries telling them to back off. When she needs to though, she can shut up if it will help her gain people's trust and (mostly) stay alive. She could be called manipulative, as she would definitely try to trick (and maybe seduce) her way into the Career pack, although she shouldn't have to, as she did a bit of weapons training back home. Well, enough that she would definitely be welcomed in the pack.
Looks: Kharissa has wavy brown hair which reaches to her shoulders, and is 6'1". Although she wouldn't be considered bulky in a disgusting way, she is quite muscular, but the muscles are much more wiry and subtle. She has steel grey eyes and a considerable tan, though it isn't anything close to Winter's.
Celebrity Look-a-like: Cobie Smulders
Game that they won: 53rd
Weapon: Throwing knives for distance, and close-up, her body. She masters the martial arts of karate, judo, krav maga, taekwondo and muay lao

Kharissa of District Nine - TheGhostOfHearts
There were two tributes left, only one until I could be the victor of these Games and go back home, and the tribute left was the one I'd wanted to kill all along. My very own district partner. I remembered that feeling when she'd been reaped. Shock. Horror. Betrayal. But then, when Raven was reaped too. I was thrilled and overjoyed. That would be one person in the arena I wouldn't mind killing. The jerk had cheated on me after five years. We were childhood sweethearts, and he'd just thrown it all away. But he didn't know I knew, which could make it much more fun.
We'd shook hands and agreed to be allies, which I had expected. After all, we were still a couple. The Capitol swooned over us, we star-crossed lovers from District Nine, who'd been oh so tormented by life and it's twists and turns. Sponsor gifts showered over us, and all I had to do was play the act properly. What led to sweet revenge.
Slowly, we elimated all the Careers, one a night, me throwing knives at whoever was keeping watch, eliminating the biggest threat, which was when we controlled the Games. The other tribues had all been easy pickings, mostly scared into killing each other, while we rested, happy with our supplies, and ready to kill whoever passed.
The pool slimmed, from 24, to the top half, to the best quarter, and the whole time, people didn’t hunt us. After all, who were we but two tributes from District Nine, a poor agricultural district who did nothing but produce wheat? Not a threat of course, simple easy pickings. Prey, not preadotors.
We’d been underestimated, and they’d been wrong to do so. When we were up against that girl from eleven, the one with the talent with a spear, it had been no match. While Raven fought her off with his sword, distracting her, I crawled around, and simply threw a knife at her skull, impaling her brain. Now, it was just the two of us, and I knew he wouldn’t kill me, but I also knew he would defend himself. He’d expect me to take my own life, just so he could survive, and I wasn’t going to let that happen. Never. But, as I’ve always said, a little acting can go a very long way, especially in the Hunger Games.
“So... I’ve been thinking. It’s obvious neither of us is going to kill each other, but we need someone to win. We won’t make it back home if not. We’ll just both die. So, I’m willing to offer to end my life, so you can go back home. And all that, because I love you. There’s just one little thing I want in return...” My voice trailed off, and he was immediately confused, but agreed to do anything I wanted.
“I just don’t want to die without loving you fully. Will you do that with me?” Foolish boys, run by their physical wants, they were just so easy to manipulate. His lips were on mine before I could even continue talking, and he didn’t even notice when I pulled my last knife out of my boot.
Every kiss sent shivers of disgust up my spine, and I didn’t want it to trail on any longer, I just wanted it to end. I took my knife, and stabbed him in the back, litterally and figuratively. His cannon sounded. I had won.
