I woke up to find that my window was wide open, my exposed skin screamed as I made my way over to close it.

"No thank you Satan." I commented to myself.

How.. Did I get home? The last thing I remember is passing out in the forest, who brought me home?

Something out of the corner of my eye caught my attention, the reflection off of the metal chain making it clear as to what it was.

This is... The events from last night poured into my brain.

I had finally gotten him again, and I failed to make him stay. My heart clenched and my eyes began to water.

Taking in a shaky breath, I wiped my tears and tried to calm myself.

Crying isn't gonna do anything, he said he would come back, now stop thinking about it.

I placed the necklace back where it was on the dresser. Making my way downstairs, I was greeted with the heavenly smell off sausage and bacon.

Smells just like moms cooking. I smiled to myself as I sat at the table across from uncle Naruto, who was reading the newspaper and occasionally sipping his coffee, you know, the whole dad shebang.

Minako greeted me with a goodmorning as she set down a plate in front of Naruto and I.

I ate in silence, as My aunt and uncle conversed with eachother. All I could think about was how this was all Boruto ever wanted. Everything about this scene was perfect. Except Boruto wasn't here to enjoy it.

I cursed at myself for continuously thinking about depressing stuff, and finished my food. I thanked Minako and Naruto for allowing me to stay, and I left.

The Uzumaki residence, as lively as it is, makes me feel upset. I'm probably just overwhelmed.

Upon arriving at home, I could hear the sound of kunai hitting targets from around the house.

I walked to said destination and found Sarada. Skillfully, she threw kunai, they all hit their targets, and I gazed in awe.

"You've gotten a lot better." Sarada's head perked up at my praise.

"Thanks.. Your uh.. attitudehas gotten better..?" The supposed 'compliment' came off more as a question.

A soft laugh escaped my lips, and Sarada smiled slightly.

"While you're out here.. mind sparring with me?" She asks

I gaze at her surprised. "I mean.. sure."

♡♡♡♡♡
Sarada was faster than she remembered who to be. But that only makes sense of course, Sarada never misses out on a chance to train.

Although she was fast, I still managed to dodge her attacks with ease.

Sarada aimed a kick at me, I swiftly moved to the side and swept her feet out from underneath of her.

"You're good i'll give you that." I start.
Sarada sprung up and glared at me annoyed.

"Don't kick unless your enemy is distracted. Something I've learned out of experience."

Sarada huffed and charged at me, I blocked her attacks, until I noticed she lost her balance. Quickly I punched her in the gut, then pinned her arms behind her back and sat on her.

"Wait for an opening." I stated bluntly, as Sarada grunted underneath my weight.

I lifted off of her and then pulled her up to me.

"I think i'm gonna call it a day." My sister sighed, exhausted.
"Besides I can smell food." She finished, and I let out a laugh.

I followed her inside, and sure enough my mothers cooking filled my senses, and we all sat down to enjoy the amazing food.

We joked and I shared more stories of my adventure. Mom and Sarada seemed mesmerized by my tales, and they whined when I decided it call it a night.

I had managed to go through most of the day without thinking about Boruto... Minus now, but yay me I guess.

I smiled to myself as I slowly drifted asleep.
Man it sure felt nice to be home.
