"I can't believe he doesn't trust me!" Chance says as he throws the ball over Chris' head and make it swiftly into the basket. Chris groans, there's no doubt he's winning this game.

"Well... honestly, you're not the most trustable person out there.." Chris was holding the ball now.

"What?! I'm the most trustable person in the WORLD!" James steals the ball and makes another point. Chris groans again. "Are you kidding me? That doesn't count! You were talking to me!"

"Not my fault you're slow." He said sticking out his tongue, as he takes the ball again, throwing it mid court and making it in without a hustle.

James have always been great at basketball. That's what he's known for in school and outside of school. In fact, he's so good that people actually fight to have him on their team.

I don't think anyone has ever seen him lose a game, not even once.

40 mintues have passed since the game begin. Chris collapses to the ground defeated and James follows her.

"Tired already?" He said smirking above her.

"Well I'm not a professional basketball super star princess like you." James smiles. "True." He sits down next to her.

Is easy to assume that Chris plays some type of sport given that both of her best friends are atheletes. James with Basketball, and Chace terrific at Baseball. But Chris is known for nothing athetic, in fact she's the opposite of an athelete.

Chris often thought about joining the cheerleading team though, so together they could become the school's Athletic trio, it had nice ring to she thought. But with graduation hot at her heels, she doubt she'll have time to stay commited to all that.

"Is he mad at me?" Chris looks up at James, he snaps out of his thoughts.

"Who? Chance?"

"Yeah," Chris said quietly, "I regret opening my big mouth, since you guys are best friends, I assumed he told you."

James sighs. "Don't feel bad, is not your fault. We talked it out right after you left the café." He turns to see her.

"I was going to find out somehow anyways, either from his big mouth or your big mouth."

He smiled big, as Chris gave him a stare. "What are you talking about? The only one with a big mouth is you!" Chris pushed him as she got up and stared walking away from the neighborhood court and to the path to the residential houses.

"Why is does everyone think that way?! I told you I'm the most trustable person in THE WORLD." he pounds his chest, finally catching up with Chris.

"Really? Are you sure?" Chris says squinting her eyes. "Remember that one time in 7th grade when you told Mrs. Brown about the surprise birthday party we were throwing her?"

"Noooo that's different! It was an accident!" James says in a defensive tone.

"Okay but what about that time, you 'accidently' told my mom about the stray cat I was keeping secretly in my room? Hmm?"

"Oh my god that was 7 YEARS AGO LET IT GO." James said dramatically.

"But what about that time! When..."

"OKAY. ENOUGH WE'RE NOT MAKING A LIST HERE." James interrupted while putting his hand on Chris mouth.

Chris throws his hand away.

"Point is. Chance didn't trust you, and he had every reason not to," James rolls his eyes, but he knows she's right, "he'll be lucky if his secret lasts a week."

"Deal." James said softly,  Chris stops walking and turns around to face a smiling James.

"What?"

"I'll keep Chance's secret for a week, AND when I do. ."

Chris sighs "ugh, why do you make everything a competition? This shouldn't be a competition! Chance is our friend, we need to keep his secret no matter what."

"AND WHEN I DO," James continues ignoring Chris' comment, "you'll have to do my homework for a month, because I'll prove you wrong." His face glowing with confidence.

"Fine! But if I win, you'll do my homwork for a month, AND you'll apogize... publicly." Chris smirks.

James thinks it over.

"Does it have to be, like, public, public?"

"Yes, public, public." Chirs reassures him.

James thibks about the offer laid in front of him. A good 5 seconds passed, and his cocky smile comes back, "Deal." A certain spark in James eyes light up. God, this guy loves challenges.

"Deal." Says Chris and she reaches out her hand to James.
