"He'll be out for a bit, until he wakes up you can sit with him in here. When he wakes up, press the call button and a nurse will come and help you out." The surgeon informs you.

As the Doctor leaves the room you inquire, "I hope he wasn't too much trouble?", running a hand through Shoto's locks, him stirring gently from your touch.

"Not at all, he whimpered a bit when we put the needle in then fell soundly asleep." The doctor replied.

Giving a nod of thanks to the Doctor you take a seat next to Shoto, grabbing your phone you check your messages. It was summer break, meaning all your classmates were out having a wonderful time: vacations with their families, friends and significant overs.

You however had been Shoto's chosen caretaker when he was informed he needed to get all his wisdom teeth removed. His father wasn't kind enough to take care of him after, Fuyumi was working and Natsuo would record and laugh at him, and he wasn't really close with anyone else in class. It was up to you as his girlfriend to take care of him in his time of need.

Feeling a hand grab your free one you cast your eyes downward to see the sleepy heterochromia eyes of your boyfriend staring at you.

"You came..." He breathed out, seeming shocked that you were actually there.

"Of course I did sweetie." You smiled back at him, placing your phone down and pressing the nurse call button.

"How do you feel Shoto?" You ask worriedly. Seeing your normally stoic and calm boyfriend all drowsy and pathetic hurt you a bit.

With a whimper he states, "My mouth hurts." Lifting a finger toward his mouth. He appeared to be trying to open his mouth further as well as stick his finger in.

"No sweetie don't do that!" You scolded him, stopping to glance at you in confusion he inquires, "Why?"

"Well if you mess with it to much your stitches could come undone." You state kindly.

"They could?!" He asked in shock, his hand falling back down. "You're so smart." he adds in awe.

Chuckling at his cute reaction you notice the nurse come in. She begans to go through her check off sheet to dismiss Shoto.

Looking at you with a kind smile she asks, "You're his care taker, correct?"

"Yes. I'll be-"

"No!" Shoto chimed in, he states proudly "Y/N my girlfriend."

"That's right sweetie I am, but you need to be quiet for a minute so the nurse and I can talk." You squeeze his hand and he smiles at you softly. With a drowsy "Okay," he doesn't interrupt again. This anesthesia sure was making him act funny.

"Continuing on." The nurse says with a chuckle, "You received the pain medication already?"

"Yes Ma'ma they are in my bag. The doctor already went over the dosage with me." I confirm.

"Good!" Turning to Shoto she calls him, "Todoroki-kun?"

"Yessssss?" He trailed off the 's' sound.

"Do you feel ready enough to go? There is a taxi waiting to take you home."

"Yeah, I'm good to go." He says trying to stand up on his own. Unfortunately a dizzy spell hit him causing him to stumble. Luckily you where able to grab him before he could fall.

"Careful sweetie." You cooed him. "You're still a bit loopy."

"You're an goddess Y/N." He complimented you, making you blush. This Shoto sure was more open with his words then the normal one.
