Unperfect Academy

Chapter 1

I woke up in my new house i moved into during the summer. My old-fashioned alarm clock was blaring throughout my room. I looked at the time, my clock read "9:00 AM" Oh no!! im going to be late!! thoughts were rushing through my head as I scrambled to pick up a random pair or skinny black jeans and an old coldplay tee.

I ran into the washroom and scurried to put on my chosen outfit. I took a glance in the mirror and immediately regrettd it. My curly brunette hair was tied up in knots and my skin was pale making my emerald eyes unnaturally pop. I heard my mom calling from downstairs "HURRY UP MEG! YOU'RE GOING TO MISS THE BUS!!"

I lazily tied my hair into a bun and grabbed my luggage and ran downnstairs. My first day at the academy. Well technically my first day on campus is tomorrow but i am arriving on campus today.. thats if i can make it to the bus stop within ten minutes!

I grabbed a breakfast bar out of the cupboard and an apple juicebox. "Im leaving now, mom!" i yelled. Mom came rushing in and smiled "Have a great year,I will miss you" she hugged me and said "Call me when you get unpacked and settled." "I will i promise. i will miss you too, goodbye!" i replied. And with that i was running down the street carrying my luggage behind me.

When i finally arrived at the bus stop after running for five minutes i sat down on the bench and looked around. There were two other barbie doll chatting. I didn't even bother talking to them, what's the point. Judging by their gucci bags and expensive clothing, they didnt seem like the friendly type. After a few minutes of waiting and swimming in my thoughts, the bus arrived right on time. I

I gaped my mouth open at the appearence of the bus. I thought i was taking a region bus there! The bus was purple grey and black and read "Greyhound Academy" on the side. It was basically a coach bus. It was perfect.

I climbed on board and placed my luggage above my seat. Its amazing how strait A's can basically get you anywhere. such as a deluxe bus ride to one of the most prestigous academies in the continent. Once i had all my things set up, my iPod, headphones, a good book and a blanket, i was completely prepared for a long bus ride. 

About halfway through the bus ride, a lady came scurrying down the isle shouting "COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS AND SNACKS ANYONE!" the second i heard those words,  my hand immediatly shot up. Hey, its free food! The lady came over and gave me a menu. A MENU! i was honestly expecting plane crackers! this is beyond perfect so far! i look for my all time favorite- wait.. they have starbucks here?! Of course they do Meg. its a snobby prep boarding school, a.k.a the Academy. I finally decided on a strawberry creme frappucino with a small bowl of gluten free pretzels. Hey, dont judge me! gluten free is actually pretty good..

Within a few minutes, the lady returned with my food. I smiled and replied with "Thank you" and she rolled her eyes and muttered, "i hate my job, stupid naive poor people" i bit my lip to keep my attitude together. I pulled out my iPod and watched a movie for the rest of the ride.

When we finally arrived my mouth fell open. The academy was even bigger than it was in the picture i got in my letter. It was like a castle! no, let me scratch that. A KINGDOM! there was a huge building out front labeled "The Main Hall". Suddenly, i heard a loudspeaker say "ALL FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES TO THE AUDITORIUM IMMEDIATLY!" Me, and the rest of the crowd started pacing in the Main Hall towards the Auditorium. We walked past several groups of students pointing and smirking at us. 

When i walked past a certain group of 9 boys, i had to literally use my best effort to not completely stand there in shock. They were all intensely attractive! and what was werid, they all stood there staring at me as i walked by watching my every move. Oh god, i must have toilet paper attached to my butt! no you moron, their checking you out! my brain told me.

That's unbelievable! im as ugly as a rat! why would any of them even want to BREATHE around me?! Well that may be true, but they're obviously interested in you! I shaked off those thoughts and saw that one of the boys, who was wearing a red bandana in his hair, winked and did that "call me" hand signal thing at me. Another boy, who had curly hair and green eyes-like me walked up to him and slapped him and then smiled at me. i turned my head towards the auditorium and started jogging towards it trying to forget what had just happened with those intensely sexy boys wait, what did i just think? oh god.. i need to stop this now! i've never really had a huge crush on anyone, and i dont plan on doing so anytime soon!

When i was finally seated in the auditorium, it was a big as a stadium! The auditorium had levels, and i was seated in some really crappy seats. but hey, i could honestly care less! its not like im going to be here very long.. I took in my surroundings, and then- "Hi!" i heard this blonde girl say from behind me "Hey.. Im Meg" I said awkwardly. "Yeah, I have heard about you. Aren't you that girl that got in with only a scholarship? you're lucky. The rest of us had to pay the horrible tuition." she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, i guess i am.. do rumours really spread around here that quick?" i asked biting my lip. "Yeah, one rumour leads to another. it really doesnt stop around here.. one thing i will tell you though, is to stay away from these 9 boys." she said pulling out a yearbook from last year. i gasped looking at the photo

"What?" she bit her lip. "You don't know them, do you?" "Well, technically not personally. On my way here, they kept on staring and winking and smiling and doing stuff at me as i walked past them. Why?" I questioned telling her just about everything. She gasped "Im warning you, I dated one of them last year and they are BAD NEWS I tell you. All they do is steal girls' virginity. I honestly thought Niall was different, but he was just like the rest of them. All they want is sex, then they leave you in the darkness. Please just do yourself a favor and stay away from them."
