*Knock, knock, knock*

Zeek jumped out of his dream. He could see a dark skin figure in what looked like a red dress outside. He woke up in a daze a bit confused. These memories were feeling more and more real. He remembered Maria was coming over to help, so he dashed up off of the couch. How long was she waiting outside while he slept he wondered? Hopefully not long.

Unlocking the door, Maria was a bit hesitant to come in. Ezeekiel was not sure what had happened, maybe she changed her mind. Ezeekiel motioned for Maria to come in.

"Everything okay?"

Maria hid her face and blushed, then looked downward towards his bulge in his sweat pants. Ezeekiel had not realized he was erect from his dream about Marsha.

"Uhhh, let me explain."

He stuttered to get out. Feeling a bit embarrassed and not wanting to portray the wrong image.

"It's okay, it's been a stressful time for you and it is your house."

Maria forced a comforting smile. Ezeekiel stepped aside to let Maria in. He immediately noticed her beautiful red dress. It fit her tightly from her shoulder to right over her knees. He was not intentionally admiring her but the dress was just that damn gorgeous on her. Straight knock out. It exposed her neck, shoulders, some cleavage and legs. It was surely seductive but still classy.

"Ummm, sorry if i'm keeping you from something

"Ummm, sorry if i'm keeping you from something."
"Huh, what you mean?"
"You're all dressed up."
"Oh, this silly old thing." She joked. "I'm going out with my friend later"

That earlier awkward moment seemed to pass and now knowing Maria had time constraints Ezeekiel got straight down to business. He gave Maria a tour of the house and changes that he made. He took her upstairs and showed her the swinging gate. Showed her the halls, counters and sharp edges now covered.

Maria applauded all that he had done and then pointed out what he didn't. Maria had him baby proof the pool in the backyard even though he fought her on the idea.

"I'm not going to go swimming with my baby doctor" he was being petty calling her doctor all of a sudden."

"I would hope you would not but accidents do happen. I bet you put away your guns didn't you?"

Ezeekiel laughed and rolled his eyes. Maria caught it and laughed. After the pool, Maria helped Ezeekiel replace all long table cloths that baby Laura could reach and just left table mats. Again she had to educate Zeek that baby Laura could pull the table cloth with hot liquids or sharp objects and hurt her self.

Maria was making some great points and was very helpful. She was very thorough, thoughtful and insightful. Zeek didn't know if to be more impressed with Maria or feel more discouraged with himself. The baby was not even home yet and he already felt like a failure and unprepared.
