Me and my best friend Miranda we're on our way to the park with her brother Henry and his friend James on a nice November afternoon. Oh I almost forgot! How rude of me. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Grace Kanterlot. I play basketball for the team 'The Tornados'. And the first person I met on that team was Miranda Vermon. She's the coach's daughter. And my BBF. Basketball best friend. She's only a year older than me but is really fun to be around. And she's the only one that knows that I'm very sensitive. You see, it's impossible for me to say no to just about anything. Especially my friends.Anyway, we decided to head to the park with her brother and friend to play soccer. We were having fun until James said "I'm bored! Let's do something else together!" "Sure but like what?" I asked. Miranda grew a smirk on her face. "Let's play 'Truth or Dare'" I always hated this game because I always thought it was stupid that people had to do dares or tell the truth about a subject or else you'd be considered "a big baby." Since I didn't want to seem like a one, I just plainly agreed to play this torturous game. She took out her phone and opened a app called 'Truth or Dare Limited Edition'. "Who wants to go first?" James asked. "I will!" Miranda excitingly said. I watched as she pushed the dare button. 'Remove one piece of clothing' it read.
"Ha! Easy!" Miranda exclaimed. And I wouldn't have protested about this......
If she only hadn't removed her shirt.
"What are you doing?!" Put your shirt back on!" I practically shouted at the top of my lungs. "Relax Grace, nobody else is here. But now it's your turn." She said. And as quick as lightning, she scooted towards me and started lifting my shirt up!
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!?!" I screamed.
I slapped her in the face and she released my shirt. She looked at me like if she just got smacked (physically and mentally). "Don't. Ever. Touch. Me." I angrily said to her. "Ok ok! Jeez, calm your ass down" Calm down? CALM DOWN?!?! How about you calm down because:
• She took off her shirt in public
• Her brother and his friend are acting like this is normal (like who does that?!)
• She almost took mine offAnd she's telling me to calm down?!?! I never knew she acted like this, even in front of her brother. Is he ok with this? My thoughts were interrupted by Henry saying "Hey guys, maybe we should head back. It's getting dark" He was right. The sky was now turning into shades of red and pink in the mountains. We headed back home but Miranda pulled me off to the side and said
"You'll pay for what you did."
I didn't know what that meant at the time. But sooner or later, I found out it meant nothing good.
