~Clary~

"Izzy!" I shout in the hall of the Institute. "What is it? Do you need any advice?" She says while walking towards me. "No, I just did something very stupid. And that matter are we going to discuss in my room," I say while glaring at her. "Okay, what is it?" She asks while crossing her arms over her chest. "Urm, I took your advice and maybe I kissed Jace," I say while looking at my shoes as if they are the most interesting thing in the world. "You kissed him!" Isabelle squeals in excitement. "Don't do that so loud, The Angel probably heard you," I scold her. "Don't be ridiculous, was it good?" She says. "I hope you realize that you're his sister," I say. "Yes, I do realize that." She says. "This is all just so confusing, I mean, I didn't think that I could ever be in this sort of situation," I say. Suddenly 'run the world' Starts playing. "Take it, I'm going to try and fix this," I say while getting up and leaving my room.

I walk to the kitchen, grab a glass and fill it with water. While I was sipping from my water, Alec strolled in the kitchen. After seeing my frown he asked, "Are you okay?" "Just peachy," I say while putting the glass on the counter. "I'm going to assume that you didn't mean that," He says. "Life decided to throw some lemons at my face," I say while looking into his electric blue eyes. "Then you should make lemonade from it," He says. "Don't be so smart," I say jokingly while slapping his arm. Fake hurt crossed his face and he clutched his 'pained' arm. "You could always throw the lemons back," he says while smiling. I smile back to him. "Really Alec? And I thought you outgrew the remarks," I say while leaning on the counter. "Izzy maybe knocked some sense into me," Alec says. "If she did that, you probably deserved it," I say while going to the window in the kitchen. Since when is it so hot in here? "I don't know, maybe since the heater was invented?" he says. "I swear to the Angel Alec if you make one more remark, I'll have to do something about your smart mouth," I say. "Maybe you should kiss it," He says while leaning to me. I didn't realize that I've been leaning in too until I felt Alec's soft lips against mine.

 "Hey, guys- OH MY GOD!" I hear someone say from behind us. We jump apart and I see Izzy standing there with her hands covering her eyes. "You can look now," Alec says while I feel the heat rushing to my cheeks. "Clary, girl emergency now," Izzy says while dragging me out of the kitchen.

Once we are in the safe havens of my room Izzy begins talking. "Clary, I warned you, you're playing a dangerous game," she says. "Yeah, but you told me, 'If it's worth it, it's worth it.' And for the last time I checked, my love life is important," I say while pacing the room and Isabelle sighs. "I know. Now, you go back to the kitchen and declare your love for him. We all know Jace isn't the man for you." She says while getting up from my bed. "Ay, ay captain," I say while exiting the room.

I told you it was going to get wild. Now, this book is ending very soon and, I want to thank y'all for reading this. It has been one hell of a ride. But that's an understatement for what this book has been through.
