JB's P.O.V.
*Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch*
The sound of leaves crunching from being stepped kept on as he just walks through the forest without a care in the world. He was just walking calmly, slightly skipping, while humming an unfamiliar tune.
He obviously knows his way through the forest as he seems to keep making turns. Finally after walking for a few minutes he arrives in a beautiful crystal clear lake.
The grass greener than those at local parks.
Weeds all over the place.
The sun's light bounced off the water creating these mesmerizing colors.
Birds, deers, rabbits and butterflies just going about their day.
It was a beautiful sight to see.
The perfect stress relief.
For those who didn't know the history of it, anyway.
The boy continued to awe at the view before finally feeling his feet throb in pain. Begging him to rest his aching feet from walking for a long time.
So he went to find a place to sit. He finds a tree log on the ground so he immediately sits down, facing the view. And he continued to admire it.
While he stare off in to the distance he notices something colorful moving in the corner of his eye. So he turned to the side.
And saw that it was a colourful butterfly.
Its wings had a beautiful pattern and color that it was hard not to be mesmerized by it.
But as he looked behind it, he notices something in white laying by the edge of the lake.
He stands up and went over to it to investigate. As he comes closer he notices that it looked a lot like a human body. Just laying there, not moving.
Realization struck him as fast as a lightning bolt so he started running to it.
When he reached it he immediately knelt down and started shaking the person on the ground.
Its appearance was of a boy. His clothes torn. Face, arms and legs covered in cuts and bruises. And his clothes looked like a straight jacket but its left side was missing, it looks as if he ripped right through it.
He put his hand on the boy's neck were his veins were to check for his pulse.
It was still there, thank goodness.
But it was very slow, barely there.
At his discovery, he started shaking him again.
But he just won't wake up.
'I can't just leave him here. But my parents will notice me bringing an unconscious body home. What should I do?' He thought as he tries to think of a plan to bring the person without anyone noticing.
After he had a bit of debating in his head, he decided that he'd bring him home to help him.
He picked the body up (with a bit of struggle) and gently placed the boy over his shoulder. He adjusted the boy's position before he started walking out of the woods.
After walking for a long time, his pace grew slower as he grew tired from the extra weight. But he still continued because he could see the edge of the woods.
Finally they were out of the woods. He collapsed from exhaustion. He knelt and placed the body down gently before laying on the ground panting.
After a few minutes he finally stands up and he starts to drag the body by his arms instead because his shoulders were sore from carrying a body.
Before he could continue however, JB felt someone tap him on the shoulder. In surprise, he spun around quickly. His eyes wide open.
It was a guy.
The person who tapped him was wearing a black sweater and jeans. The hood covering his head. He was also wearing headphones and a backpack. His eyebags were very noticeable making him look like he hasn't been having a good night sleep.
"Did you just kill that guy?" the guy said in a dead tone.
