Kohana's POV

I slowly trailed behind Sasori and Deidara as they trudged down the narrow halls. I continued to eat my Pocky while the idiot blonde glanced back at me every time I took a bite. After about the millionth time he looked at me I raised an eyebrow at him out of curiosity.

"Do you want one?" I questioned him, waving a Pocky stick in the air.

"I never thought you'd ask!" He chirped like a bird while his eyes lit up.

I held the box in front of his face and he took a piece. I observed as he took a bite into it. He paused for a moment-- a smile formed on his lips and happy tears were running down his face. He had a look on his face that told me he was day dreaming about something. I raised my hand, contemplating on whether I slap the brat or not.

"Sasori-danna..." Deidara uttered.

"Oi Sasori, your bitch is dreaming about you." I sneered.

"Shut it, brat. You're annoying." He growled.

We arrived at a door that was isolated from the other rooms. The room was dimly lit and the air felt extremely thin. It was almost suffocating.

"Pein-sama, we've retrieved her for you." Deidara spoke in a serious tone.

We stood in front of the desk where the man sat calmly. He had orange spikey hair and a variety of piercings in many different places, but his eyes were what caught my attention. Amethyst colored orbs with concentric circles that possessed a ripple-like motion I got so easily lost in.

"Did she put up a fight?"

"No."

"Good. Here's your cloak and your ring. You are to address me as Pein-sama or Leader-sama at all times." He said throwing my stuff at me.

"Yes, Pein-sama." I bowed.

I slipped the ring onto my finger and put on my new cloak. It was a bit big on me.

"Your partners will be Deidara and Sasori. You'll be staying in Sasori's room for now. Dismissed."

"B-but, Leader-sama!" Deidara stuttered.

"I said you're dismissed." He snapped.

Without another word we left the room. I followed behind Sasori and Deidara again, not knowing where we were heading until we stopped at another room. I assumed it was the living room considering there was a sofa, Tv, and a table in the middle. There were seven people longing on the couch with unamused expressions. My eyes met the stone cold onyx ones of an Uchiha.

"Koha-chan." He said lowly.

I glared and appeared in front of him, unsheathing my katanas and directing them towards his heart and throat.

"I never thought you'd end up like this." He spoke in a toneless voice.

"Kohana, please. There is no fighting in the living room." The woman with purple hair stood up.

"And you are?"

"My name is Konan. These are the other members of the Akatsuki." She gestured to the other guys sitting on the couch.

"My fucking name is Hidan." The man with sleek silver hair spoke roughly.

"I am Kakuzu." A mysterious voice said.

"We are Zetsu." Two voices answered.

"Kisame." The fish replied.

"Onii-san."

I held my blade closer to his chest and throat. I clenched my teeth tightly, attempting to hold back on having this idiot killed. I've hated Uchiha's ever since that day, and I always will.
