Just as Noah finished the call, someone knocks on the door. Noah turns around to see who he is, thanks to the memories of the body that is residing he manages to recognize the boy who looks through the half-open door, its Joshua, who is now his stepbrother. Joshua is tall, he is around 1.70m, he is 15 years old, on his face there are still traces of baby fat, but one can realize that in a few years he will be a handsome young man. His well-built body, compared to Dorian (Noah), is much more imposing, Dorian can't help but shrink into a defensive pose when the other boy enters his room. The way he looks at him immediately clasps his attention, disdain is reflected in his eyes. Apparently, the relationship between the half-brothers was never good from the beginning. "Dad says breakfast is ready," Dorian just nods, according to what the system said he can't OOC, the information provided previously shows that Dorian's character should be introverted and even submissive, this of course does not fit Noah's explosive personality. If he could, he would have taught that stepbrother of his not to be so conceited. Even though he acts timid, Dorian can't hide the defiant glare in his eyes, Joshua noticed this, and his lips curled slightly. "Interesting," he mused, before leaving the room. Once his footsteps faded, his face darkened, as his attitude overturned and the boy began throwing a tantrum feeling annoyed at this arrogant guy, who does he think he is to talk to him like that?

Noah looks at himself in the mirror once more to notice that he is still wearing his pajamas, as he doesn't have his new school uniform yet, he decides to wear a simple set of clothes, after brushing his hair, making sure that each blond curl is well placed, he washes his mouth and observes himself again in the mirror. His appearance is supremely adorable, but because he had not occupied such a small body in a long time, his movements were clumsy while he went down the stairs to reach the dining room. It is then when he comes across the next scene, Joshua was sitting at the table next to a man around 30 years old, father and son had similar features, in fact, Joshua could be considered the teen version of this man, however, something else captures his attention. The irises of that man, for some reason are too familiar and at the same time they are not. In fact, the moment his gaze fell on that pair of eyes, the memory of this extremely annoying person resurfaced. He made a small grimace of displeasure that the man managed to see. He paused a few seconds at the bottom of the stairs until the man told him to sit next to him. This man, of course, was Elijah. Dorian walked slowly towards the chair with nervous steps and head bowed. "Come Dorian, I didn't know what you like to eat so I asked the chef to prepare different dishes", his tone is friendly, but at the same time, his voice leaves no room for debate. Dorian finds the courage to look up at the man directly in the eyes, his golden-black irises intersect with a pair of blue, round, watery eyes, eyelashes moistened with the tears. The look in the boy's eyes made Elijah's heart clench, something was different in this boy than the one who picked up the day before; even when it was the same child, something had changed. That something gave him an unknown sensation, the hidden gleam of mischief in the boy's eyes, maybe that was it. Something about this boy awakened his desire to protect him in his embrace.

"Dad, mom called a while ago," said Joshua on the other side of the table, he cocked his head to Dorian and looked at him with mockery, it probably had to do with what he talked with his mother on the phone. For a moment Elijah frowned, he and his wife had been divorced for six months, apparently his wife was cheating on him with another man and since they signed the divorce papers he did not speak to her again.

"What did she say?", he asked.

Joshua remained reflective before answering, "I can't say it in here," gesturing subtly to where Dorian was, Elijah understood and nodded. "It's better to talk directly with mom."

Elijah went to another room with the phone in his hand, his face dark. Dorian without staring at Joshua, poured some food on his plate and began to eat his food with his head down, on the other side he could hear Elijah's voice suddenly rising, he seemed aggravated by something, maybe because of what his wife was saying. "...the child is not a stranger, he is the son of one of my best friends, do you understand? George was like a brother to me, next week I'm going to bury him and his wife" his voice trembles, "I'm not going to leave the child on the streets just because you think he's a bad influence for our son ... ", again, his voice went down and banished as he walked on the corridor, Dorian could not hear the rest of the conversation. He pretended that he had not heard anything and kept eating, Joshua on his part, got up from his place and sat next to Dorian, forcing him to look at him when he lifted his chin.
