Blood Night

Chapter 4

It was pitch black with a small light coming from up ahead. Light is better than pitch black so I decided to walk towards it. As I was walking a person came from the light and walked towards me.

I gasped when I saw who it is. The vampire. I turned around and tried to run away but I was stuck in place, I couldn't move anymore. I felt a cold breath on my neck and heard him whisper "found you." Then I felt him sink his flanges in my neck.

"NO!" I bolted up right, sweat was dripping down my face. Tears stung my eyes, I tried to blink them away but couldn't. I brought my knees up to my chest and put my head on them. I realized I was on a bed in yet another place I didn't recognize.

I looked up when I heard the door to the room I was in open up. I saw Liam standing there concern was written all over his face. He ran to me and wrapped his arms around me. "What happened? Are you ok?"

"It was just a nightmare. Liam what happened, where are we?" I felt his arms tighten around me." Liam tell me, please. Are you really a- a vampire?"

He said nothing for a while he just sat there holding me. " I'm sorry I should have gotten to you faster. I'll explain everything later for now just come with Me downstairs ok." I nodded I'll let him go for now. "Oh and put this on, you must be cold right?"

He went to the dresser that was next to the bed and pulled out a red sweater with a rain deer on it and handed it to me. "Hey Liam do you know anyone that has the same name as you with a light dusting of freckles, short spiked brown hair and piercing blue eyes?"

He looked at me with a smile playing at his lips. "What if I do? Do you like him or something?" I looked up at my brothers teasing face and quickly looked away when my face started to heat up. He chuckled and patted my head, "Yes I do know someone like that, Liam is not his real name though. His name is Daren hippan. He goes by that name for a couple reasons that I won't say. Why do you ask?"

"Oh he talked to me on the plane while you were in the bathroom. He seemed really strange to me." I brought my hand up to my neck to where to vampire bit me and looked down at my feet. "He was also the first person to tell me about the roomers of this town." I looked up at my brother and saw a sad look on his face.

"Come on let's go down stairs. There's some people I want you to meet and some things I need to tell you." I pulled the sweater over my head and walked out the room with my brother. "Oh ya Daren is downstairs by the way. I recommend you get that blush under control."

"Liam!" Liam laughed and I smiled. He was right though I don't know why but whenever I think about Daren I get flustered. I punched my brother to get him to stop laughing. He looked at me and faked a hurt look. "What did you do that for?" I glared at him and hopped it would be enough to burn a whole in him.

"Liam whenever your ready to stop messing with your sister where ready for you." I turned around and saw Daren standing at the top of the stairwell. I yelped at the sight of him and quickly got behind my brother to avoid him seeing my face. "Ouch am I really that ugly looking?"

"No no! Your not ugly your actually kinda cute." I slapped my hand over my mouth and buried my face in Liam's back. I peeked around the side of my brother and looked at Daren. He was staring at me wide eyed but then smiled.

"Well to know such a pretty lady thinks I'm cute is very rewarding. Might I say you look very lovely today miss Miranda." I felt my face heat up even more and went back to hiding.

"Ok Daren that's enough she's my sister and this is just to much for me to witness. Come on let's go downstairs." Liam stepped out from in front of my and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Let's go." I looked at Daren and who was already going down the stairs. Damn I'm such a child when it comes to cute guys.

We were about to turn a corner at the bottom of the stairs when we heard something that sounded like a gun shot. "Stay here!" Liam looked at me to make sure I understood and I nodded. He ran towards the sound of the gun shot.

"My Lord I believe you have someone in your possession that rightfully belongs to me. So why don't you save us all the trouble and bring her to me oh and if you don't want this freckled douch to have his brains blown out you will bring Jeramy Jinn as well." What is that man talking about? Who belongs to him and who is Jeramy Jinn?

"She is not yours, she hasn't even become a vampire again." Liam?

"Ahh well you see that is where you are wrong I have the power to change her and control her. Don't you remember the contract your father and her mother and I made when she was just a baby? She is to be my wife and she will bare a child that will see the vampires have power over everything and everyone." I pecked around the corner to see the man that is talking and what I saw was awful.

Daren was unconscious and a man I have never seen before had his foot on his chest with a gun pointed at his head my brother was crouched on the ground hold his leg that was bleeding badly there were also more people that o have not seen before all around the room wearing Metallic blue capes.

"I will never hand Miranda over to filth like you!" The man with his foot on Daren moved so fast before I could blink he had move in front of Liam and slapped him across the face. The slap sent him flinging into the wall behind him.

"Liam!" Before I could think better of it I was out of my hiding spot and was running to my brothers side. Before I could make it there though I was grabbed by the color of my shirt and and seized by two blue capes men. "Let me go!" I fought to get loose but it was no use they were way to strong.

"Miranda! No let her go!" Liam seeing me run to him then get caught was to much for him to bare. He knew he couldn't defeat them with the state he was in. He couldn't do anything. He got up with an enormous effort and got ready to attack but he was instantly grabbed by two my blue caped men. "No!"

I looked over at the man that hit Liam and saw him walking towards me. "So you are my bride to be. Miranda Scottly. Yes I think you will make the perfect mother for are child. Once you are restored to your true form that is." He put his hand on my cheek and leaned in to kiss me. I gathered as much spit as I could and spit right in his eye.

"Don't touch me you sick man." The man wiped his eye with his sleeve and stared at me. A wolffish grin spread across his face.

"Oh yes you are perfect. He roughly grabbed my face and said "but it appears you need to learn some manners. Let's go men." He turned around and looked at Liam. "And if you do decide to bring Jeramy Jinn to me I might consider letting you see my fiancé every now and then. But if you don't bring him you entire family is dead." With that he signaled his men to make out and a vampire speed they were gone and I was with them.
