Blood Night

Chapter 3

I sat there frozen in fear as the man slowly walked towards me. I crawled back and stopped when I hit the back wall. "Please don't hurt me." My voice was shacking, the words of the man on the plane and the women at the desk started to come back to me.

The man smiled when he saw how afraid I was. I looked at his teeth and I saw, FANGS! I gasped in fear at the sight of them. "How is that possible? Vampires are just myths, I don't understand."

Suddenly the vampire was no longer in front of me. I felt a cold hand on my neck and I turned to my left to see him crouched down beside me. I yelped and tried to run to the door. But before I could take two steps he grabbed my wrist and threw me on my back. I coughed, gasping for air as the wind left my body. The vampire was now on top of me holding both my wrists on either side of my head.

"Please! Don't!."

"Oh! I love that look on your face, it gives me such a rush! Show me more of your fear, let me hear you scream as I pierce your skin." He leaned down into the crook of my neck and licked the skin there.

"No stop!" I started to struggle but he was unbelievably strong and he didn't even move an inch.

He moved his mouth up to my ear and whispered, " Yes that's right, beg me to stop"
He moved back to my neck and touched the tip of his fangs to my skin, then sunk them deep into my skin.

"Ok is that the rest of the paper work?" I look up at Maria and she nods. " Good, ok I'm going home leave anything that comes in in my office." I stood up from my desk and walked to the door.

"My Lord!" I turned to see what Maria wanted and saw her holding a letter. My Lord this came in today, it's for Mrs. Miranda. I nodded and left. I guess I'll go five this to her before I leave.

I was walking to Miranda's dorm when suddenly someone ran past me at vampire speed and I could hear a faint cry. I ran to my sisters dorm. I opened the door only to find the room empty with a broken lamp on the floor. "Miranda!" I turned and ran back down the hallway using my tracking skills to find her.

I screamed, it hurt so much. I could hear him sucking the blood out of my body. The lessons my mother use to teach me kicked in and I brought my knee up and got him as hard as I could in his crouch.

He gasped and loosened his grip on my wrists just enough for me to push him off. I quickly stood up looking for something to use as a weapon. My eyes set on the lamp on one of the night stands. I ran to it and grabbed it, I flipped it so the base of it was up. I turned around just in time. The vampire was reaching for me but I swung the lamp as hard as I could down on his head. I dropped the lamp and ran to the door, I ran down the hallway looking for someone that could help me.

I got maybe halfway down the hallway before the vampire caught up to me. He just suddenly appeared right in front of me and grabbed my neck. "You bit-." He looked up and saw something that stopped him mid sentence I turned my head to see what it was and saw my brother. I heard the vampire curse under his breath then I felt myself being picked up and thrown over his shoulder.

He ran at vampire speed down the hallway and past my brother. "Liam!" I tried to scream but my voice was snatched away by the wind.

He finally stopped running after what seemed to be an hour and he slowed down. My head was spinning and I felt like vomiting. He put me down on something soft and I grew comfort from it. I felt like I was ready to pass out, I knew I shouldn't fall asleep but after what has happened today I no longer had the strength to do anything. I took one look around at my surroundings and realized I was in a huge house.

I was staring at a picture of a cat with a hat before I passed out.

I've been tracking Miranda for an hour now and i finally figured out where I was heading. The place that I despise the most. "Jeramy jinn if your the one who took Miranda you're in for a world of pain."

I woke up in the same place I fell asleep. I looked around the room confused of where I was and how I got here. I brought my hand up to rub my stiff neck and felt a throbbing pain on a certain spot. Suddenly everything came rushing back, " Oh that's right he took me here after he saw my brother. CRAP! I've got to get out of here." I stood up and ran to the door in the opposite side of the room.

"Now where are you going my pet?"I felt a cold hand move across my shoulder up to my neck as the words were whispered into my ear. "I need my breakfast for the morning." With those words he sank his teeth into me. He drank all in big gulps, it's as if he hasn't eaten anything in a week.

"No stop help me!" As I screamed something shattered. I turned to look to see what happened and I saw Liam standing by a broken window. "Liam!" Suddenly an arm was wrapped around my neck and I couldn't breath.

"Stay back or I'll kill her!"

A dangerous look creased Liam's face and before I could see what was happening Liam was in front of us and there was blood flying everywhere. The right grip around me neck disappeared and I fell to my knees.

I felt arms go around me and I looked up to see my brother. "Miranda are you ok? What did he do to you?" I wrapped my arms around his neck and sobbed into his shirt.

"Liam, he- he's a vam- vampire! H-he drank my- my blood!" I cried even harder. We just sat there holding each other until eventually I fell asleep.

Liam, anger creased his face as he held his sister tightly. He picked her up bridle style when he realized she had fallen asleep. He walked to the door and left carful not to shake Miranda. He took out his cell phone and called Maria.

"Yes my Lord?"

"Get Mitchle and some of the guards and send them to my location and make sure the man in the house is restrained and tell him to bring the man to Zezma."

"Yes My Lord."

I looked down at Miranda and whispered, " I'm sorry." And I left with her in my arms to my mansion.
