"Morning, sleepyhead! You look tired. Lots of homework?" Jaehwa's Mother greeted him when he was trudging downstairs, his ass incredibly sore from yesterday. He smiled softly and nodded.
"Yes, a bunch of homework," Jaehwa lied smoothly. It was rare that his Mother could make breakfast for him. Yes, she was here in the morning, but she was always too busy to make him breakfast.
The aroma of fresh pancakes made Jaehwa's smile broaden. He slid into the seat of the dinner table, waiting for his food. His mother set his plate down and sat in front of him.
"My boss gave me a few hours off. And oddly, money from your part time job has been helping a lot, Jae. Thank you," She smiled gratefully at her son. She hated the fact that she was burdening Jaehwa by him having a job while being in school. The mother knew Jaehwa wasn't the smartest in school, but also knew how hard he worked.
"You can invite Yugyeom over tonight after work if you'd like? I bought some movies you two can watch together," His mother smiled at him, digging into her food. Jaehwa stopped from stuffing his mouth, suddenly losing his appetite.
"Uh, well, Yugyeom has been busy these past few days, and I.." A picture of Jungkook flashed through his head and he smiled. "I have a new friend."
"Oh, I'm sorry about Yugyeom! Well, I'm glad you met someone as well," His mother looked excited that her son has more friends than just Yugyeom.
"Yeah, he's pretty cool," Jaehwa couldn't keep the smile off of his face and started eating again.
The duo finished their breakfast, and Jaehwa decided it was time to go, no matter how reluctant he was. His mother bid him goodbye and left soon after he did.
Jaehwa was walking down the street when someone called out his name. He looked over, spotting Jungkook and one other he didn't recognize. Jungkook was running over to him, while the other had his hands in his pocket, looking quite sexy if Jaehwa said so himself.
"Hey, Kookie," He greeted, giving the other a warm smile. Jaehwa was growing comfortable around the male, though he knew to keep his distance.
Jungkook gasped, excited about his new nickname, "I got a nickname! Taehyung, I got a new nickname," 'Taehyung' hummed, not looking interested, though he kept his eyes on Jaehwa.
"Oh right! Jae, this is V," Jungkook introduced.
"Taehyung, this is Lee Jaehwa," Jungkook then introduced Jae to Taehyung. The younger gave a small smile, shy as 'V' or 'Taehyung' started playing with his lip ring.
