"Why do you look so nervous this morning, Jae?" His mother questioned, raising her brow as she watched her son play with the pancakes on his plate, not eating. Jae looked up towards his Mother, noticing her worried look.
To ease her worry, he gave a small smile. The male stabbed some pancake and put it into his mouth, savoring the taste. "It's nothing, I promise. I was just wondering if..." Jae paused, trying to come up with an excuse.
"If you...?" Jae's Mother questioned, raising her brow as she stopped what she was doing.
"If I can.. dye my hair!" Jae gave a bright smile, taking another bite of his pancake. Jae has honestly been wanting to dye his hair for the longest time. He wanted to dye it a sort of silver color. On his instagram, he's been seeing more and more of his favorite idols dying their hair that color.
"You want to dye your hair?" His mother repeated, pursing her lips as she leaned against the counter. She was trying to decide whether or not to allow him to do so. Maybe it could be an early birthday present, and a gift for working so hard to keep the family together. "Sure, what color?"
Jae was shocked. With the problems with money, he'd never expect his mother to say yes. He licked his lips, becoming excited.
"Well, I was thinking of a soft silver color. Y'know like the idols have!" Jae waved his hand as he was describing it, wanting his mother to have a visual.
His Mother smiled, nodding her head, "Ah, that's a pretty color. I think you'd look great in that color! I'll make an appointment today," She walked towards the telephone, dialing the nearest Hair Salon. Jae was forever grateful for his mother.
Jae continued to eat his pancakes as his mother talked to the person on the other side of the phone call. He was bubbling with excitement. He's always wanted to try a new look, and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity.
"Okay!" Jae's Mother clapped her hands after she ended the call. She seemed bright, which was good news. "You're appointment is in one hour. They seemed to be free this morning."
Jae nodded his head, deciding to go get ready. He washed his plate and then went upstairs into his room. He slipped on a pink, fluffy sweater and some skinny jeans. He slipped on a choker and put on some light makeup. Jae decided he was good to go, and checked the time. It was thirty minutes until his appointment, and it took at least twenty to get there.
He believed he should arrive early. His mom let him that the car and drive to the appointment. Once Jae arrived, he jumped out of his car and walked into the store. Jae was greeted by a woman with a wide smile, waving him over to a chair.
