Rain. That's all we get here is rain. I love it when you get to relax and watch movies all day when it's raining, but not when you're in school learning.
As I walk through the school doors, I can hear the loud squeakiness from the wetness of my black leather boots to the shiny white marble floors. My jet black hair is slightly wavy from the humidity of the rain and my leather jacket has small trickles of rain drops on it. I head straight to the bathroom, noticing my appearance in the restrooms dirty mirror, it's clear my eyeliner and mascara has slightly smudged. Before I can re-apply any make-up the bell rings, which signifies that my horrible day is just starting.
"Good morning class, please take out last nights assignment and put in the fourth bin." Mr. Harper tells the class who is barely listening to him.
"Hey Roxy, are you going to that party on Saturday?" I hear a familiar voice from behind me.
"Yeah, Belle is making me go." I tell my blonde best friend, Ellie.
"Cool, we can all go together." Ellie suggests.
"Ms. Roxanne Montana, do you mind sharing why you are interrupting my class with your side conversation?" Mr. Harper asks sternly. "No." I say coldly.
"I'll take the pepperoni pizza and an apple." I smile at the lunch lady trying to hide the clear disgust from the horrible food choices. I scan over the cafeteria to search for my friends Carter and Belle, the only two people I share a lunch period with and Niall and his friends, but I never want to interact with those people. I spot the grey beanie Carter wears all the time and I make my way towards the table.
"Hey guys." I greet them.
"What's up, Roxy?" Carter asks.
"You're still coming to the party right?" Belle asks me before I get to answer Carter's question.
"Yeah, why is everyone so obsessed over this party, they literally happen every weekend. I don't get it." I asked annoyed and confused. "It's not just "a" party, it's "the" party. Harry Styles is throwing his birthday bash. It's the biggest party of the year, and I finally got invited by him." She practically squeals.
I don't say anything else, I just sit there and eat the disgusting pizza.
The sky is still grey as the vapid raindrops come from the clouds outside, when we're dismissed from school. That's just practical weather in Chicago.
I quickly walk to my car to escape the rain from soaking my clothes even more. I'm already in my car when I hear a tap on my window. I roll down the window, which allows a bit of rain into my pine scented car. It appears to be that Harry guy except he's wearing a black hoodie to somehow cease the rain with the thin cotton jacket, and he's all alone. "So your coming to my party right?" He asks me with a low voice. "Yeah, how'd you find me? I barely know you." I ask curiously. "Oh, but you will get to know me." He says with a cocky smirk. And with that, he walks away.
