So Ethan asked me out and saying that I'm excited is an understatement cause I've liked Ethan for a little while now but nobody knew cause I didn't want it to effect the group dynamic. Since I never told anyone that I like him I just assumed that he didn't like me back because we've been friends for like ever. His family knows mine and all that stuff so I felt like it was kinda weird for me to like him but apparently he ended up liking me too. The bell rang for us to get to study hall and thankfully I had it with the whole group "come on Dolan let's go we're gonna be late Mrs.Lewis is gonna be mad at us if we're late for her study hall all year again." We started walking to study hall together and when we finally made it five minutes after the bell rang we were locked out thanks to Ethan this happens every year to us we end up having the same study hall with the same teacher every year and we always end up locked out the first day "great now what Dolan." What looked like a freshman opened the door and she stared at Ethan In awe I laughed silently on the side because everyone does that when they first see him especially freshman. Once we walked in "Mrs.Lewis my best friend how are you this fine afternoon." I said, Ethan right behind me in saying "Aye Mrs.Lewis the homie how are you today." She came back with the same thing she says every year when we walk in late to her class "take your seats Perez and Dolan." We both always answer at the same time "yes ma'am." And we take our seats then she went on with the rules aka the time me and Ethan present her class rules for her we raised our hands and she sat back down ready for us to start with the rules "okay class hello and welcome to your first day back or first day ever at northshore we welcome you guys with open arms." I started "if it is your first day today I would like to Introduce me and my partner here I am Ethan Dolan and I'm a senior and she is Elena Perez and she's also a senior." Ethan said "I know you all saw us walking in late but the first rule in this class is don't be late because as Mrs.Lewis always says punctuality makes good humans and being a good human means being on time." I said "Rule number two Mrs.Lewis isn't your friend and she will never be your friend unless your me or Elena but that's beside the point so since she's not your friend she isn't gonna treat you as such so that means staying in your seat, being quiet, and doing your work unless she says otherwise." Ethan said "and the third and final rule of this class is no food or drinks in here at anytime you eat it outside or you don't eat it at all the reason why we aren't allowed to have food or drinks In here anymore is because SOMEONE I'm not gonna name any names spilled an entire two leader and left food everyday and there was a big ant problem after that." I said nodding my head at Ethan while I spoke "any questions, or comments about the rules?" A freshman raised her hand "yeah you in the back in the hoodie." I said "yeah I have a comment Ethan is hot and I'd like to get his number." I laughed out loud at that one and so did the rest of the upperclassmen and Mrs.Lewis because we all know Ethan Dolan would never date a freshman "sorry freshy but he's sorta taken." I said in between laughs. She looked down embarrassed then we and Ethan bowed and took our seats and once we sat down we got asked by gogo "so are you guys dating." "No go we're not dating." "Ugh why can't you guys just date already he likes you and you like him so just date." Gogo said "it's not that simple Gogo but we'll get right on that." I rolled my eyes and took out my phone until someone tapped me on the shoulder i didn't have to look up to know it was that freshman "what do you need freshy." "Why did you embarrass me like that bitch?" "Uh actually you embarrassed yourself for asking such a dumb question." I saw E perk up at her talking to me "well you-" I cut her off "I'm gonna stop you right here honey you could talk to anyone like that but me I don't care who you think you are I don't care that you were popular in middle school but get real bitch it's high school and popularity isn't a thing so why don't you go sit down and shut the fuck up before we have a problem." I said not looking up from my phone. After that she stomped away all mad because I shut her ass down, I looked up from my phone because I felt eyes on me and I knew it was Ethan "what?" "Why didn't you lay off of her Elena she's a freshman." "Because she needs to know she can't talk to people like that without getting shut the fuck up." "Okay yeah but you could have been nicer to her." And that's what pushed me over "okay then if you care so much about her then go comfort her dude I don't care." I said getting mad "okay maybe I will then." "Okay bye have fun with your freshman oh and about that date you asked me on, it's over." I said and went to mrs.Lewis' desk to ask if I could go to the office she wrote me a pass and I was on my way to my AP aka my therapist. Once I walked in the secretary saw me and said "she's in a meeting but she'll be out in like 5 minutes." "Okay thank you ms.Addy." I sat down and waited for my AP and once she was out of the meeting I went into her office and sat down "hi ms.Guerra." "Hey Elena what do you need." "Ugh I hate freshman." I said "and why do you hate them?" "Because the stupid freshy in my study hall was trying to get at Ethan and keep in mind she tried to get at him in front of the whole class after me and him explained the rules and then after she asked for his number all of the upperclassmen started laughing at her then after that when me and him sat down she literally asked why I embarrassed her even though she embarrassed herself and like I obviously put her in her place cause I wasn't gonna have a freshman ruin my day and like Ethan was literally defending her after he said that he likes me in ceramics and asked me out on a date and so I got mad and told him the date was off and to go talk to the fresh-" the door opened and I turned my head to the door and it was none other then Ethan "Elena I-I know I messed up but-" "but nothing you took someone else's side." "Elena let him finish." Ms.Guerra said, I nodded and let him go on "I know I messed up but I really do like you and I really do want to take you out and I'm sorry for taking the freshman's side and I know I'm stupid for that cause you did teach her something valuable for high school and just so you know I came right over here after you left I didn't go and talk to her or anything." "Fine I forgive you but don't be a dick next time cause I just wanted to teach her a lesson about talking to people like that." I got up and gave him a hug then the bell rang for lunch and I said "thank you Ms.Guerra." "Your welcome Elena I'll see you probably tomorrow." "You know it." Then Ethan and I walked to lunch and his hand kept brushing mine while we walked and me being fucking stupid and not being able to pick signs up I said "dude stop brushing your hand against mine it's getting annoying." He laughed and just grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together and said "i was brushing my hand against yours so I could hold it not to be annoying Ellie wellie." I blushed hard even though he called me my nickname I didn't care until we got to the group I let go of his hand and walked up with him "hey where did y'all go the rest of the period." Nici said "uh well I went to my AP then Ethan came." "Wait why did you storm out of Lewis though?" Chase asked "cause I was mad as fuck." "Oh why?" Carlos asked "reasons." "Her and Ethan got into a fight because he was defending the freshman that asked for E's number." Gogo said "wow thanks for telling them Go." "Yeah your welcome." She said sarcastically "wait where's Conan he was in Lewis right?" I said worried because he wasn't with the rest of us "I don't know I didn't end up seeing him after though but he probably just ditched to go get food." Chase said "okay yeah but he would text me if I wanted anything or that he was ditching and I haven't gotten a text yet so where is he." I said even more worried because he's one of my best friends.
