I started driving to school praying I'm not late because I woke up so late. Once I got to school I was late of course because I hit every. Single. Red. Light. I walked into the attendance office "Hi, Ms.Addy." I said to the secretary in the office "Elena, why are you late again today, You know I can't keep excusing you." She said in a monotone voice "I know Ms.Addy, I know but-" I got cut off "no buts Elena, get to Spanish here's your pass." I graciously took my pass and walked to class.

My friends and I were hanging out in the parking lot before going home. "Dude I know Lewis is an asshole she's too strict on us in her class." Said Chris
Ethan and I laughed because that's what everyone says about her and we're the only students she likes. "What are you two dickheads laughing at, you guys don't know how much an asshole she is cause she's nice to you guys." He said 
We laughed again "Anyways Nici and Gogo are you guys doing outkast this season?" I asked them
Nici answered first "Uh actually I think my dad is switching me to SoCal Mercado so I don't know still but if I do change teams, I'm for sure playing high school in the spring."  Then Gogo answered "I'm still doing Outkast so we should all do workouts together."
"Oh my god yes dude Ryan said he was gonna take me to the field today so are you guys down to go with us?" I asked them "I'll ask my dad even though he'll probably say yes." Said Nici "Yeah same I'll ask my dad too." Gogo said "okay, okay bet."

The boys were still talking amongst themselves and I was standing about a foot away from Ethan but I got tired of standing so naturally I yelled out "Trust fall!" And started falling backwards. Of course he ran straight to me pulled me into his chest and started scolding me because he almost didn't catch me "Jesus Elena you can't do that shit I deadass almost didn't catch you, what would you have done if I wasn't there huh!" He scolded while holding me in his chest "I don't know I guess I would have fallen." I said giggling "It's not funny you could have seriously gotten hurt." He said still scolding "Okay but I didn't get hurt did I?" I said still smiling "Okay you didn't but still don't do that when I'm not paying attention again." He said "okay, okay jeez, anyways I have to get home ya'll, Nici and Gogo I'll text you when we leave if you end up going, and Ethan thanks for catching me." I said with a wink to him at the end.

I walked into the house and surprisingly Ryan was home before me "Hey Matty." I said smiling at him
"Hey E." He said back "Soo, I invited Gogo and Nici to come to the field with us today." I said walking into the kitchen. He walked in after me opening the fridge "Oh nice the more the merrier do you think we could get one more person to come so I don't have to participate and just boss you around shorty." He said calling me my softball nickname "Hey don't push it Matteo, but I'll probably end up inviting Yeah-Yeah because we talked today and she said she's thinking about switching teams to Outkast." I said slightly scolding him because he didn't wanna participate with us "Okay sick just let me know, are Alex and Bobby coming too?" He said asking if Gogo and Nicis dads are coming "Uhh I'm actually not sure they probably are considering we're practicing softball." I said walking away and going upstairs
"Yeah you're right Shorty, anyways go get ready full uniform because we're sliding." He said as I was walking upstairs. I yelled back an "okay!" And went to go get ready
I texted the group chat with Gogo and Nici to see if they were coming
