Loraine's Pov
*beeeeep beeeep*
"Hey Miss, Are you stupid? You're standing in the middle of the street. Can't you see, the traffic light is already green."
*brrrrrrrrrrrr*
"Wow! What a great way to start this morning! " I sighed out of anger. I don't have time to argue with all these people I'm going to meet ahead. I still have a class this morning and I'm trying not to be late. I quickly walk to the jeepney stop and fall in line but the line cut off because the jeepney is already full. I was to desperate to be at school already so I forced myself to get in. I squeezed my butt a little for me to have a little space.
"Ano ba yan Neng, ang sikip na nga sumiksik pa" said the old woman beside me.
Please don't make me start, I'm already irritated, but I thought, maybe that woman is experiencing some problems, so I didn't mind what she've said.
"Pasensya na po" I replied to her calmly and smiled.
After few stops, many passengers left the jeepney. I could finally sit comfortably. I decided to open my phone and listen to my favorite music, I'd lie.
"UST na, sino ba-baba diyan?" The driver asked the passengers loudly.
I lowered my head to see if I reached my destination, and yes I'm already at UST. I opened my phone to stop the music so I could put it inside my bag, and as I opened my phone, I saw my clock showing it's already 8:30. I'm already late for school.
"Ako po manong, sandali lang po!" I shouted as I held the hand rails to get off the jeepney. I ran fast to get into our room quickly.
I looked through the glass window to check if our professor is inside. Ms. Santiago is facing the board so I went inside the classroom and sat on the only chair that is left.
I'm currently sitting beside Theodore, and nothing new, he's always this quiet.
The bell rang and what's weird is the silence between us is louder than the bell. Thinking this almost made me laugh,he might think that I'm weird if do that, so I smirked.
"What are you thinking about?" Theodore asked me while looking at me confusedly.
My body shook out of surprise, what the heck? Can he not call me by my name before talking? Ugh. I almost fell off my chair.
"Theodore, you surprised me! I thought you were not going to talk to me after annoying you at the Cafeteria." I yelled at him in reply while tapping his shoulder multiple times.
"Okay, okay you can stop now. I'm sorry HAHAHA, I didn't know that you're skittish!" Theodore replied while laughing.
"Are you out of your mind? Why are you laughing at me?" I am not angry, I just feel ashamed and now he's teasing me.
"Whatever Loraine, let's go buy food at the cafeteria, follow me when you're ready." Theodore demanded while he passed by me going towards the exit door.
I feel my face blushing, oh no I feel a little bit of excitement when he said that,but we're just friends. It's just a friendly gesture. I grabbed my handkerchief to cover my face and followed him quickly. He might change his mind. Not this time Theodore!
