Loraine's Pov
Weeks passed by, Theodore is fine now. And like what I've promised to him in the hospital we will look for Mich. This man is so full of hope that we can find her.
"So tell me about Mich? What's her last name? where does she live?" I asked
"Ahmmm hmmm ehh I don't know. Just Mich" he answered
"What? Do you know how hard is it to find a person without knowing her personal idendity? Theodore there's a lot of people named Mich in this world. It's so impossible to find her if you only know her first name." I explained
"Maybe she's in the lighthouse?" He said
"Lighthouse? Where is that lighthouse?" I asked
"I don't know Loraine, I just want to find her. Are you still going to help me?" he answered
IMPOSSIBLE! first I don't know if Mich really exist. Second, We don't know what is her last name or where does she live?. And lastly, Where is that lighthouse located? Theodore you make things complicated.
"Maybe we need to look for that lighthouse in the internet." I answered
I get my laptop and i click the browser.
Omyghad! There's a lot of lighthouse in the Philippines. How can we identify which one is the lighthouse that Theo is talking about. He can't even remember the full detail of that place all he know is that there's a lighthouse.
"Theo, there's 79 lighthouse in the Philippines and I don't know which one is the one you are looking for" I lend him the print out photos of the lighthouse.
He looked at it and figured out which one is the lighthouse he went to.
"Loraine, I can't remember. Can we just go to these places. I remember what Mich told me, If I feel lost i just need to go to that lighthouse. So i need to go there, I need to find her." He hold me tight as he say those words.
"Okay fine, Which one we go first?" I asked
I was captivated by his eyes. He's so determined to look for that girl. Mich you're so lucky, I wish we can find you. Theodore is longing for you.
"Let's go here." He pointed his finger to the photo of Corregidor Island Lighthouse in Cavite.
"Okay let's go" I replied
He smiled at me and give me a hug. He looks so excited. I feel a burn on my chest. No, not today.
We're inside Theodore's car. He didn't ask for a driver, he told manong that he can managed to drive from Manila to Cavite.
I can still feel the burn feeling on my chest. I can't breathe properly. I don't want Theodore to know about my condition. He's looking for his happiness, i don't want to be a burden. I just decided to sleep besides It's traffic in Costal Mall.
After few minutes..
"Loraine, we're here." Theodore wake me up.
He went outside the car and he's staring at the lighthouse.
I followed him and i stood up beside him.
"Is this what you looking for?" I looked at him and asked
He shook his head.
"Let's go..." he went back inside the car so I followed him.
"So where are we going next?" I asked
"I don't know, what's next in the picture?" he replied
"Basco Lighthouse in Bataan." I said
Bataan is way too far from Manila. But Theodore wants to go there for Mich. I have no choice but to come with him.
