STEPHANIE

My books were piled on my desk. Yep, I'm an old school. Mas prefer ko ang books kaysa sa e-books. Hmm. Studying nanaman. Wala naman akong ginagawa sa bahay pag-uwi ko kundi mag-aral. I'm used to it. That's why sometimes Haylee whined about it at sinasabi niya na minsan naman daw mag-relax ako. Well, now that the exams and the Muzikal were coming up, there's no time for me to relax.

I took one of the books to use it as a reference when something fell on the floor. I heard a sound after it fell. I bowed to see what it was. I picked it up. It was a bracelet. But I was not quite sure if it was a girl's or a boy's. Actually it can be either of them. Mukhang may pagka pricy yung bracelet. It should be given back to the owner. But wait, who on earth was the owner? I'll ask my classmates tomorrow.

*Ringgggggg*

My alarm clock startled me. Nagising ako bigla. Hala! It's already 6:45 am! Dali-dali akong pumunta sa comfort room para maligo. I massaged my hair with shampoo and scrubbed my body with soap then I rinse myself with water. After taking a shower, I brushed my teeth and gargled off the foam. Then, I ran downstairs to grab a bread roll from a plate on the dining table. I was about to head off to school when my Mom called me.

"Steph! Aren't you going to eat your breakfast? It's the most important meal of the day!" She yelled, wiping the water off her hands with her apron.

"Sorry Mom, I'm running late. Gonna eat breakfast at school! I love you! Bye!"

Before she responded, I quickly went out of the house and hopped in my white Porsche.

On the way to school, I noticed that I was wearing the bracelet I found scattered with my books last night. Oh right, I should find the owner of this. Who knows? Maybe it has a sentimental value to that person or something.

After parking my car at the unoccupied area of the parking lot, I grasp my bagpack, swung it over my shoulder and ran off to my classroom. There, I saw Haylee reading a pocketbook while her head was seemingly dancing to the beat of the music from her iPod through the earphones plugged in her ears. This girl is really unbelievable. I mean, how could you focus on what you're reading when the song has also lyrics and own story itself?

I dropped my bag on my desk. I went over to Haylee and removed an earphone from her ear.

"Hey! I'm in the middle of my own fantasy here!" I peeked at the book she was reading. It was Breaking Dawn from The Twilight Saga and the song she was listening to is 'A Thousand Years'. Jeez. This girl sure has a love life of her own.

"Why don't you stop going gaga over Edward Cullen and start looking for a prince charming of your own fairytale?" I told her, hands on my waist.

"I don't argue with you when it comes to your own love life so don't barge into mine, okay?"

Like she wasn't. Palagi nga niya akong pinipigilan sa pantasya ko kay Ryver eh.
