Chapter 4 "This Is What Hell Looks Like"

Hello to my new day at Legendary academy. Today I did not expect for anything at the academy to be kind of that heroic.

"Crystal dimension reality Legendary Academy," I cast out the spell. In a moment later I was there at the academy. Let's see my first class was no way..... Not a chance I'm going into a class like that. Guess what's it is a hell of mine- manners class. Hey what? Don't look at me like that. I'm not weird, but it just that every time I attend the class like this, I'd always have bad luck with it. Firstly, when I danced with someone I always step on their feet. Secondly, I don't know how to wear high heels or more like shoes people wear to dances. Thirdly, I don't know how to wear ball gowns, for since the last 15 years of my life I only wear jeans and short skirt with sneaker or boots. Okay, let's just end this now or that ten pages would not be enough for me to write about this. Anyway, the class is about to start, so I'd better get going by now.

The class is at The main hall. When I walked in the place was decorated with a crystal chandelier, hanging down from the ceiling, sparkling when the sunlight hits the crystals. There were about 20 students that some were boys and some were a girl. Or should I say half. Well, As I would say when I looked around I saw that maybe I'm in the wrong class. Everyone there was dressing so formal, and by formal I mean dresses, suit, and tie. At that time I was just wearing my normal outfit which was a burgundy red dress, black short inside, bandolier, and black leather jacket.

When the professor walked in I was like MAN! This is going to be the worst. But at least the professor didn't seem that bad. Maybe she's kind and gives a good grade. On second thought maybe not.

"Good morning class, I am Professor Alexa from the realm of Windisia. I will be teaching manners class for this year. For this class since we are you going to have A dance in a very few days. I will need to teach you some basic things about this first because some of you just got into the Academy this year, so it must be new for those of you. Alright, let's get started. The voice on the right find out every here and girl on the left lineup please," she said.

Standing beside me was my only friend Lightiana Appears and the opposite of me was someone very familiar in my head. I tried to dig deep to my memories inside my brain, and yes Caspian Jackson, the guy I had met on my first day at the academy. He was wearing a dark blue suit with black pants, and a white shirt.

"Boys step forward and asks girls out for a dance..... You there," said the professor and pointed at me.

"Yes professor," I replied.

"This is manners class not fighting class, and please tell me Miss Shane that why are you dressing like that?" she questioned.

"But this is just what I wear to a class like this if that I would wear t-shirt already," I said.

"At least just take off that biker gloves and put away the bandolier of yours," she ordered.

"But........"

"Just do what I say or I'll fail you for this class," she said.

"Fine, I'll do it," I replied. Taking off my gloves, wondering about my birthmark. I used my magic to take it off as well as my bandolier. My birthmark glowed in golden light again, and it stopped to glow.

"Now, music begins," she said.

When she said that the music began. Caspian walked toward me.

"Fire Gauntlets, the sword of the eternal alpha," I said and placed the sword at him. At the same time,

"Aqua Vambrace, the sword of the angered sea," he said. And then we began to do sword fighting in the middle of the waltz music.

"Miss Shane and Mr. Jackson, I suppose that this is a ballroom not a fighting arena. Please put down your weapons," she said.

"Yes Miss," we said at the same time.

"Good, now we shall begin our lesson. Remember I'll be grading you during the assignment," she said.

The music started up again, I saw some of the couples were already started dancing. Caspian walked up to me and gave me a sight of shall we begin. To be honest I had never felt like this before, not now not ever. I didn't even know what I should do next, well I had never done things like this before. No idea of what I should do next?

"Can I have this dance?" he asked me and took my hands.

"Okay then," I replied. He took my hand and place one on his shoulder and one he held it.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Ready," I answered. Step by step he let me through the melody of the song, helping me understand the rhythm of the music flowing through the room. Most of the girl used to say that this is what magic in the air is, still I didn't understand about what they say, but for me, I thought my luck about this kind of thing might get better this day. At least compared to before.

Anyway, lots of times I heard people say that being like this I mean dancing in a ballroom, With a guy like Caspian would make your heart exploded. But for me, I didn't feel any of those things they said. Instead, I felt that he might be a skilled full worrier after all, so maybe I could just fight him on sometime later than this.

The class is done after that song ended. I went back to my home in Fortia Fire and I found a letter addressed to my lying on the table in my room. I open it, inside I found a very formal letter from the academy. Just wished it not a bad thing.

Dear Eliza Shane, a second-year student,

Since it is the tradition of the academy to have a masquerade at the beginning of the year, the students could get to know each other better. On May 21 we will be gelding the ceremony at the academy's main castle. This event will be graded for your manner class mid-term exam. Please participate for the academy could grade you.

I was shocked after I read the letter from the academy. How bad could a person's life be? I questioned to myself. And if I don't go, grandfather is going to be mad at me, for I will be missing the test. Though being a hero in my family's meaning is that you will never abandon your responsibilities even though you hate it or not, so I think I needed to do this one.

Since the ceremony said we needed to wear a mask, so I went down to my working area or more like my own garage. Inside I seek for some gold and some crystals. I made myself a golden mask with an ocean blue and pink crystals decorated and now of the dress is what I've been thinking a lot on it. Well, the ceremony will be held in just a few days from now, so I've got to hurry now. If that I wouldn't going to be ready for it. Anyway, for now, let just do what I always have to do, training.
