"Damn it! I can't hold on any longer!" A man says to his companion as they clung onto each other. The other person with him was currently dangling on the edge of the cliff, the only thing keeping her up was her friend who was progressively losing his strength.

"I...!" The helpless girl mutters as she looks at him in the eye. "I'm already done for! L-let go!" She says with a fake brave look on her face. "No! I will never let you go! You're the only one who truly understands me...!" Her friend cries out as another wave of tears hits his face. "There's no other choice... " Her face changes into what she truly felt, sadness. Nonetheless, she was and is still smiling. "Besides, I already... accepted death..."

"Ah, yes. The statement commonly used by humans to lie to themselves..." A man wearing a cloak with the colours black, white, brown, and red thought to himself as he watches over the two as their little scene played out. It wasn't that interesting anymore, still heartbreaking but so uninteresting.

After what seemed like forever, the scene ends with the both of them falling to their deaths. The mystery man sighs as he collects what looks to be a bright light from their corpses. "...pure souls, eh?" He says as he holds one up, storing the other one on a little pouch. "Counted as 3 souls in competition. A great find for someone who is actually wants to win, I don't." After examining it a bit more, he sighs once again and puts it in his little pouch. "Pure souls have too much of an aura in them. Death Collectors around the area probably already felt this one. I should probably leave before one pops out..."

He turns around and runs to leave. Most of the time, he goes into another realm to escape from other Death Collectors but he wanted some alone time. The over world, though the main battle field of the contest's challengers, was rather peaceful in certain areas. The only reason he was here at the time was to have that moment of peace. Unfortunately, the two completely ruined it. Now, everyone knows around where he currently was. Not only that, some of the more ruthless Death Collector were probably on their way to him to fight for the souls he recently collected.

Even though he thinks of this as a dire situation, he runs in a relatively slow way. He knows he can fight other Death Collectors if needed. He can also just escape to a realm where the opposing enemy doesn't have access to. One of a kind, that's what he is. He possesses the ability to go to all four realm; Over World, Spiritual, Heavenly, and Sinful. No one but him can travel in all realms.

Unfortunately, he's can't look into the future. He didn't expect a sudden arrival of another Death Collector. He just appeared out of nowhere, literally. "Ah!" He screams as they bump into each other. This new Death Collector wore a black and brown cloak, symbolizing that he can only travel in Over World and Spiritual. "Sorry about that! I was looking for the source of that aura and..." He takes a sniff at the other before continuing. This action caused Aku, the Death Collector that was watching the earlier couple as they died, to jump.  "Aw, looks like you got it before me..." The new character pouted as he looked at Aku with his dark eyes.

"I call myself Tenumi. How about you? I'm guessing you're really strong. That was a very powerful aura, and I'm pretty sure it was two." He asked, the disappointment from earlier already gone. "...It's Aku. Can you please let go now?" He motioned at the fact that Tenumi was still clinging onto him. He unconsciously held onto him earlier so that he wouldn't lose his balance. "Huh? Oh sorry. Guess you're not a fan of being touched." He didn't let go though. "Sorry, I won't let go. You're... interesting, Your cloak says you can travel in all four realms. I haven't met anybody else like that." "I know I'm a freak. I'm-" "You aren't a freak! Don't tell me you get that a lot, that's really rude!"

At first, he was surprised but regained his composure just as fast. "I get that a lot too. Look, if you want these souls just say so. No need to try to convince, fight, lie and deceive." Tenumi stayed quiet for a moment. "...you get betrayed a lot?" He asked. Aku was a bit surprised at how nonchalantly he was taking this. He answered the question nonetheless. "Yes. If that was your intentions, just stop the act."
