Chapter 9

CHAPTER 9

“Hey. What are you doing to him?” he said coming closer to us. We both look back and saw Jackson. The guy leans away from me and look at Jackson. He smirks and looks back to me.

“So is he yours?” The guy said to him and I cringed trying to pull my hand away from him but he just keeps his hand clasp to me.

“Let go of him.” Jackson said with a threatening look. I really feel small right now of the two giants near me since the two really was tall.

The guy looks at me and smirks before letting me go. “There, happy?” The Zeff guy said to Jackson. He just pulled me away from him instantly without him saying anything. I called Jackson many times but he just pulled me inside the gym and soon everyone looks at us when we enter.

Bane came to us with an irritated look. “What the hell Jackson? Don’t hold him like that.” Bane said and Jackson let go of me infront of him.

“Some guy was about to get on the pants of your boyfriend and be glad that I came up to them since the guy was on him. Better watch him closely if I were you.” Jackson said and walks away.

 Why is acting like that? Jeez. I'm really used on him getting agry at me but not about him being this concern.

Bane looks at me. “What is he talking about? And who was this guy he was saying?” He asks and I told him about that Zeff guy.

He signed and told the team that he will be leaving already. “Stay here and wait for me okay?” He said bringing me back to my seat together with Tina. I nod before he left to change.

“What happen Gab?” she asks and I told her what happen. “Well that’s really nice for Jackson to do. I didn’t know that guy would rescue you from that  guy.” She said then eyed me. “What’s that guy look like?” she asks. I spotted Bane and stands up not wanting to answer her questions anymore.

“Lets go.” Bane said grabbing my hand after we said goodbye to Tina and him to the team.

“Glad I didn’t found that dude lurking around you or he will get something to mess with.” Bane said sternly and I signed.

“Just drop it off Bane nothing happen to me okay?” I said and I was shock when Bane instantly brings me in front of him.

“But what if that guy do something to you? What if Jackson was not there? What would happen huh Gab?” Bane said getting frustrated. I was too shock on his outburst since it was the first time I’ve seen him act like this.

“I better look out on you properly. I’m sorry if I got attach to playing basketball rather than you.” He said hugging me tightly.

“Don’t say that your doing great on the team. And don’t even apologize its all my fault I forgot my book I should’ve ask Tina to come along.” He withdraws and pats my head since I was looking down.

“Just be more careful next time okay?” I nod and so he put his hands to my shoulders and we came home. I saw mom cooking while the kids meaning Jade and shadow eating some ice cream guess mom brought it and saw how messy shadow’s face is.

Bane grabs my bag and went upstairs while I grab some tissue and rubs the sticky cream on the boy’s face.

He smiled “Ga” he said and I was shock when he was actually called me. I scream like a girl and Bane came down instantly and mom went out of the kitchen.

“What happen?” Bane and mom asks simultaneously.

“Shadow.” I said pointing to him. “Shadow says my name. He called me.” I said and they look at shadow whose eating again his ice cream.

“Hmmm.. We need to train him more on speaking words.” Mom said both Bane and I nod then the door opens and saw dad came inside then Jade and shadow run to him laughing. I didn’t know shadow became fond of dad too. He pats the head of the two kids then look at us.

“What’s wrong? Is something on my face?” dad ask and then mom laughs telling us to change already so that we could eat.

Dinner came and I was feeding shadow but he would eventually plays on in and Bane would just growl on him that I too cringe hearing it. But all in all it was just the same.

Bane was sleeping after I went back since I wait for shadow to sleep first on his room, the kid really is hard to manage. I signed and went in bed too, Bane was in his back when I return and I didn’t want to wake him up so I silently went inside the blanket.

“What took you so long?” I was shock when he speaks rolling to face me while rubbing his eyes guess he really falls asleep waiting for me.

“I’m sorry our kid got me really tied up.” I joke and he smiled before hugging me. I lay down my head on his chest and close my eyes.

“Goodnight babe.” He said and I snuggled closer to him feeling his breathing and his heat beat on my ear.
