Chapter 23

CHAPTER 23 

***Gab’s POV***

I was running towards Bane seeing him again together with shadow in his hands and all of my family, I keep on running and running but I didn’t seem able to get close to them, it was also strange on how I did it without being tired of doing it when instantly my environment change with everything becoming dark that I didn’t able to see my mate and everyone.

It was then change when I look to my left hearing voices or rather snarling so I walk to it and saw two wolves and saw Bane’s in his Lycan form but I didn’t know if the other one was a wolf but from its form it looks like one since it’s just a shadow or rather a silhouette of a different wolf that they are circling each other out that I’m able to see Bane’s furious look that I cannot help but be scared to what I see to him.

Then instantly the two wolves run to each other colliding in the air then biting each other and slashing each other with their claws, the sight of them was hard for me seeing them fight and when I look away a howl broke loose and when I look back to the two wolves I saw the shadowy figure on top of Bane’s still body with blood pouring out of him.

I was more shock when I saw myself running towards the two wolves or rather Bane but the shadow figure of a wolf turn to my other self and change turning into Zeff with a wicked smirk, with Bane’s blood all over his body, he grab me that I didn’t able go to Bane’s not moving body that I try to get away from Zeff but he held me tightly not letting me go.

“S-top.” I choke out with tears streaming to my eyes looking at Zeff and me moving away but finding it hard to speak. I keep on telling it to him but it seems like he cannot hear me that I just look at myself and Zeff fade into the darkness.

I then look at Bane’s body that now shifted into human form, my body then begun to shake not believing what I’m seeing, he was covered with blood and wounds. My tears just keep on running, with my trembling hands I reach over to him and called him with my voice started like a whisper.

No movement and no reaction, nothing that you can see life through him. “Bane.” I said and look at his face but I cannot see his eyes. “Wake up, say something please.” I said to him with my croaking voice behind my tears but still nothing.

I then lean to him holding him closer to me but then his body was starting to fade away. “No, no, no.” I said getting his arms but before I could even reach for it, it started to be transparent like an air, until it fades slowly then his whole body vanished in my hands.

I was then left with nothing but the empty space of nothing but myself. A place where nothing but emptiness a void that I’m into.

It ended when I felt some warmth and keeps on snuggling towards it feeling a hand rubbing on my cheek. “Gabby please wake up.” said a softer voice.

I started to open my eyes and the bright morning light blurred my vision. “You’re crying trough your sleep. Are you okay?” He asks worriedly.

I then focus my vision and saw Zeff’s worried face looking at me that I rub my eyes and then felt water on the side of my eyes.

“Why are you here? Where am I?” I ask and Zeff then move away and I noticed him not wearing a shirt.

The warm blanket fell out of my chest and I feel the cold morning air that I instantly shivered and covered myself and then knowing that I wasn’t wearing some clothes on.

“Why am I naked? Where are my clothes? What have you done to me?” I ask hastily ask wanting Zeff’s answer.

Zeff look at me that I saw a hit of guilt and sadness to it before he sigh and look away to me. “Don’t worry I didn’t do anything to you even though I’m tempted its just.. I think its wrong for me to do something that’s out of line. And my father already told me not to do something stupid.” He said bitterly.
