Chapter Thirteen

Vilandra and Katarina walked into Dragon Flame's castle and to the ballroom. The only people in the room where Dragon Flame, Xan, Eva, Percy, and Klaus. They were sitting at a table in the middle of the room. Vlandra and Katarina walked to the table. Vilandra sat down in an empty chair.

Dragon Flame said "where's Jax?"

Vilandra said "she won't tell me."

"Kat what happened" Eva said.

Katarina said "Thalia said the only way she would let Vilandra go was if Jax turned off his humanity. Jax refused, so Thalia told Eric to remove Vilandra's spline and he started to. Until Thalia told him to remove her heart instead and by that time I was at the hospital in the basement. I called Jax but Thalia answered. We were running out of time and the last thing Jax said was bring me back. Thalia hung up. After I found Vilandra, I called him back. He answered the phone but the way he was talking, it wasn't like him. I begged him to tell me that he didn't turn it off. So he handed the phone to Thalia and she said he turned it off."

"HE WHAT" Percy said!

"Jax turned off his humanity" Katarina said.

Klaus said "so now we have two unstoppable being's with no humanity."

"Yes" Katarina said, "But I don't think we have to worry about Thalia."

Vilandra said "what makes you say that?"

Katarina said "Thalia got what she wanted. Jax turned off his humanity so there's no way to get Thalia's humanity back."

"Kat's right" Eva said, "Thalia could have killed dozens of people but she kidnapped Vilandra instead. All so she could get Jax to turn off his humanity."

Percy said "so we don't have to worry about Thalia but we have to worry about Jax."

Klaus said "so we need to find someone who can trigger Jax's humanity and fast."

At the Griffin, Thalia was laying on the counter.

Jax said "so what do we do now?"

Thalia sat up and said "we do nothing, I'm gonna go live my humanity free year. You can do whatever you want."

Jax said "I meant what are we gonna do about the original's? They're gonna do everything they can to get my humanity, so I can get your humanity back."

Thalia said "dammit, we obviously can't go back to Dragon Flame's or mom and dads. So what are we gonna do?"

Jax said "we could kill them."

"No that would too long, we need to be smart about" Thalia said.

"So we're just gonna be homeless for a year" Jax said.

Thalia jumped off the counter and said "no, I have a plan. Give me your hand."

Jax grabbed Thalia's hand and they teleported to an empty property a few miles away.

Jax said "you want to live on an empty lot."

Thalia said "before everything happened I bought this property. I thought we could build a castle of our own. Living with Dragon Flame is fine for now but eventually it's gonna get weird."
