Lynn's Side

Brian and I make it to the Hotel into their room and see Justin Playing the PS4 Sitting on the foot of the bed. While Alex lays on the headboard with one of his legs upward, playing his acoustic guitar, I walk over and sit on the sofa chair next to him, crossing my feet on the bed.

"Okay so Jake texted you guys the same thing right", Justin asks glued to the screen.

"he told me that he was having a small house party with close friends and wanted us to get drinks and snacks. What'd he tell you", Alex adds quickly facing Brian.

"Well just to come over not that he was throwing a freaking party, I guess we have to go to the store now", Brian says rummaging through his luggage.

I space out as they have a conversation among themselves. I notice the beautiful pine trees outside the balcony.

Flashback

I laugh, "wait I remember duh cat dog, not like it would be cow sheep", we burst out in laughter as we make the kissy faces again, as someone tries to pass behind her.

"Oh, sorry about that I-", she says as I hug her from behind pulling her closer to me so the guy could pass.

She turns, falling onto me as we accidentally kiss. her lips are super soft and warm making me shiver in the best way possible.

"oh-", I say looking straight into her eyes still holding her. Wow can it get much sweeter than this. I think to myself frozen by her gaze.

"I-uh-", her voice fails her and blushes hard looking away.

Everything about it felt right, I keep thinking that I'm starting to have feelings for her. But after what happened in the past, I'm not ready to jump back into a relationship just yet.

Flashback interruption

Touching my lips in total thought-

"- Lyndsey", Brian's voice gets louder as he rocks me side to side, when I fall to the side still on the chair.

"Brian what is your dam problem, you asshole-", I yell at the top of my lungs trying to find my balance as I hit my mouth on the drawer. "-oww", I exhale in excruciating pain.

"Really Brian, you didn't even give her a chance to respond", Justin says from across the room putting on his jacket.

Alex quickly reacts, "are you okay-", he reaches over to help me as I hold on to him finding my balance.

"-thanks, and no, I'm not okay, my lip is bleeding", I wipe the blood with my hand glaring at Brian.

"Well you weren't paying attention, and okay it's not that bad calm down-", He yells frustrated.

"-well okay but throwing her is not the way to get her attention", Alex responds annoyed walking over to the kitchenette.

"gosh I already said I was sorry, Lyndsey forgive me come to the store with us, I'll buy you anything", he says hugging me, but I move around annoyed.

"Stop it don't touch me, after that I don't want anything from you", I yell trying to escape his grip as he lays us down.

"-I'm not playing leave me alone", I yell squirming again as Justin walks over pulling him back.

"do you forgive me-", Justin pulls him back.

"-Alright leave her alone let's go- come on one foot in front of the other", Justin says pushing him towards the door as Alex hands me an ice cube wrapped in a hand towel.
