Darkness (house with a clock in it's walls)

Chapter 2

Florence's POV 

Florence was looking at an old magic book when Lewis came down the stairs. Jonathan slowly got up from the chair he was sitting, and walked over to his nephew. Florence watched as Jonathan asked " Are you sure your going to be ok?". " Of course I'll be fine, I'm just walking to school." Lewis answered him.

Florence understood why the boy must have said that he wanted his uncle not to worry about him. After all he did defeat Isaac and Serena, two of the most power witches. But she did have a weird feeling that something bad was going to happen to him, she just couldn't put her figure on it.

"Alright," Jonathan sighed. " You better get going or your going to be late," Lewis nodded then ran out the door like the speed of light. Jonathan walked back over to his chair and sat in it. He gave a big sigh then stared into space. Florence putt the magic book down on the coffee table next to her, and looked over at Jonathan.

"I know what your going to say," Jonathan mumbled.

"Say what?"

"That I shouldn't be concerned about Lewis and him walking to school alone,"

"I actually agree with you on this one,"

"What?"

Florence knew that her and Jonathan fought over every silly little thing. She wasn't surprised that he was confused about her agreeing with him for once. But she had the same bad feeling too and she needed to tell him.

"I've had that bad feeling since Isaac and Serena were defeated by Lewis," Florence told him.

"But that was four days," Jonathan responded with.

"I know, but it feels like we won the battle, but not the war,"

She saw Jonathan tilt his head but she countied.

" I think there still alive,"

" Nonsense! I told you four days ago Florence that they died! Lewis saw them die, they feel in the clock," Jonathan said.

" We don't know that Jonathan,"

Jonathan cupped his hands on his face, and groaned.

" I know you don't want to hear that but if they are,"

" I don't know," He responded with " I don't, only time will tell,"

He continued " All I know is there is a dark rising, I can feel it and I know you can too,"
