Later that day.

I woke up and Yashua was gone. It was already the middle of the afternoon. I can't believe I've actually been asleep all day. It was highly needed since my sleeping schedule is still all over the place. 

My question is where could've Yashua gone?

There was a knock at my door. I said come in and i saw Christopher open.

I really wish i knew what goes on in his head because he's fucking insane. Is he really actually back here even after he was about to hit me?

"Christopher get out!" i shouted.

"Listen to me Veronica! I'm sorry okay?" he said as he walked in further into my room.

"I'm listening" i said calmly.

"I should've never spazzed out like that and i never ever wanted to hit you. It was an intuition and i know that's not excuse" he said. "I'm sorry."

"I actually get it. I'm like that too and i'm sorry for going off on you too" i said.

He put his right hand in a fist. "So we're cool?" he asked with a small smile.

I playfully rolled my eyes and did the same and hit his hand. "Yeah" i said.

"Now get your lazy ass up. Yocelyn wants you down stairs" he said as he left my room and closed the door behind him.

Did i really just forgive him? Did i really not give attitude and call it a day? What the hell is happening to me? I'm screaming omg.

I got up and brushed my hair because it was all over the place and frizzy. I have straight hair but it just loves being frizzy.

I made my way downstairs and saw Yocelyn looking like a whole snack.

"Wow. Someone looks wife material" i said as i walked in the living room.

"Oh don't be ridiculous Vee" she said with a laugh. "I just have an event today, that's all."

"No really. You look really good" I said. "And also you needed me?"

"Thank you really. And yes. I actually have a job for you" she said.

"Shoot at me" i said.

"Is it okay if you keep an eye on Aaliyah for me? Yashua left and i haven't heard from him and he's not answering any of my texts. It's too late to find a sitter and i really need to go to this event and if-"

I cut Yocelyn off. "Whoa Whoa slow down. You have nothing to worry about. I'd love to watch Aaliyah for the night. You go do you" i said.

"Thank you so much Veronica. I really have to go now. Aaliyah is in her room with Christopher, Joel is driving me, so him and Zabdiel will be here if anything" she said.

I was about to speak but Joel came in the room.

"Yocelyn the car is ready" he said.

"See ya vez? Just go, you don't wanna be late" I said.

"Thank you so much Veronica. I'll see you later" she said as she walked out the door with Joel.

Welp, babies love me so how bad can it be?

"Don't worry i'll put her to sleep" Christopher said as he came into my room.

"Are you sure? I mean because she's already asleep" i said with a really face and pointed at Aaliyah on my chest.

"Oh. I thought you would've had a hard time putting her to sleep" he said and sat on my bed.

"Babies love me Christopher" i said. "Trust me i have experience."
