June 5th, 2019.
"Verito!" Richard exclaimed.
"Eww don't ever call me that" i said with a sneer. "How dare you."
"I'm kidding" he laughed. "Me and Yocelyn are going out tonight. You're duty shall resume."
"Okay that's fine. Christopher wanted to take Aaliyah out anyways" i said as i brushed my hair.
I was in my room getting ready since we're gonna take Aaliyah out. Every month, we take her out to where ever she wants.
"Where is Aaliyah at right now?" i asked Richard.
"She's with Yocelyn right now. I'm about to go start the car" he said.
"Okay yeah, do that" i said as i put my brush on my dresser.
Richard left and Christopher then walked in.
"Hey Sunflower, you about ready?" he asked.
"Yeah i just need to change my shirt and dress Aaliyah probably" i said. "I'm gonna actually go get her right now."
He laid down on my bed and i walked towards him to kiss him on the cheek. I went down the hall and knocked on Yocelyn's door. I Heard her say to come in, so i opened the door and went inside.
"Hey Vee. Thanks again for watching Aaliyah at last notice knowing its the week your off" Yocelyn said.
"Hey don't worry it's fine. After all, i do live here. Either way i was gonna ask if you could let me and Christopher take Aaliyah out since it's the day we take her out" i said.
She laughed. "Yeah Aaliyah was telling me that today was the day you guys were gonna take her out."
"Yeah where is she by the way?" i asked.
"She's in the backyard with Yashua. You might wanna change her depending on where you guys are gonna go" she said.
"Yeah don't worry. You and Richard go on you guys' date" i laughed.
She stood up from her vanity and grabbed her purse.
"Yeah i should" she said.
We walked out the room she shared with Richard and went downstairs.
"All her clothes are in her room and well, you already know" she laughed.
"Yeah don't worry you and Richard have fun" i said as she walked towards the front door.
"Thanks again and same goes to you guys" she said as she walked out the door.
I went outside to the back yard to get Aaliyah. She was on the swing and Yashua was pushing her.
"Aaliyah!" i exclaimed as i ran to the swing set.
"Oh hey Vee" Yashua said as he stopped the swing.
Aaliyah got off the swing and came to hug me. She already knew what today was.
"You and Chris gonna take her out?" Yashua asked.
"Yep. It's that time of month, or? How do you say it? Umm. I guess we'll leave it at it's time" i nervously laughed.
"Yeah i figured. She's been talking about it this while time" he laughed.
"Yeah so has Christopher" i said with a chuckle.
"I also wanted to say that i'm glad your doing better. I knew we haven't really had a conversation since that one night a long time ago" he said.
"Hey Yash it's okay. I don't feel all awkward about it. Like you said, it was a long time ago. Thank you for i guess you could say checking up on me" i said.
"No problem, after all i'm glad we're cool" he said.
"Of course we are" i said as i gave him a hug. "Now let me go get Aaliyah ready."

"I can't believe she's fast asleep already" Christopher said.
"I know right. She kept talking about going on the carousel after dinner but i guess not anymore" i laughed.
"Imagine us having a little one like her" he said with a smile.
I stopped laughing. Does he really actually want a future with me? Is he serious?
"Oh my bad. Sorry Sunflower" he said.
"No no it's fine really. I just started thinking about something" i said.
"Which is?" he asked.
"Like, do you really wanna future with me? Am i really the one for you?" i asked as we pulled up to the drive way.
"Baby of course i do. You're it for me. If i didn't, why did i go through all the trouble to keep you safe and by my side?"
"I mean your 24 and i'm 19 barley finishing high school and i'm still going to college to get my Associates degree for producing and barley getting my shit together and i'll always be busy and i-"
Christopher cut me off. "Even if i have to wait for you to get your shit together, i'll always be here for you no matter what. You'll still be here and once you start school, i promise that when ever you're free, i'll always make sure to spend it with you" he said as he held my hand.
"Christopher i-, i- how do you always have a way to get to me?" i asked with a smile.
"Because i love you and you love me" he said and squeezed my hand. "Now lets get out and take Aaliyah to bed."
We got out the car and Christopher took Aaliyah out of her car seat. I opened the door and turned the lights on as Christopher went upstairs to put Aaliyah to bed. I got a water bottle and went to my room.
As i walked in my room, i saw a little folded paper on my bed. I unfolded it and it was from Yocelyn. It was my pay check for the month. Oh so i got money money now.
Christopher walked in and shut the door.
"Look i'm rich" i joked.
"Wow me too" he said as he pulled out an envelope from his jacket pocket.
"Where we going?" i asked.
"You are going to school and you need to buy your stuff" he said.
"Oh yeah. Right. Asco" i laughed.
I started to undress and change into my pajamas, which is a baggy shirt and shorts. Christopher just took his shirt off and put on shorts. He snuggled into bed as i went and turned off the lights and went into bed with him.
"I'm so glad you're not gonna dorm there. I would've missed this" he said as he snuggled next to me.
"Same. Me sharing a room with a stranger? Hell no" i scoffed.
"Well aprovecha. You got about 2 and a half months until school starts Sunflower."
"Yeah i know. I just hope i finish school in a breeze" i said.
"Good night baby" he said as he kissed my cheek.
I started at the ceiling for a bit just thinking. Will things really stay the same once i start school? I guess that's my ultimate fear cause shit, i'm gonna always be gone most of the time. Like what if he doesn't end up waiting for me in the end. Okay wait, if he doesn't then, imma shoot him and that's on period. I really don't wanna loose him.
Wait, but if he goes on a job and something happens and what if i'm not there?! Oop.. Anyways i need to stop over reacting and sleep. Good night world.
