"Music?", Koyal asked, offering Avinash one end of her earphones.
Take it, take it, take it. Koyal was offering it as a truce hoping to start with him on a better note. Not just with him but with everyone. She had had this sudden epiphany. She had found herself in the midst of a completely new world with some very exciting new people by an amazing twist of events. She realized it was the perfect opportunity for her to forget everything and just enjoy. And she wanted to start this journey not with a frown but with a camaraderie with everyone.
"Sure", thankfully Avinash took it with a smile. She smiled back. And then she froze.
Well done Koyal darling. You only know Bollywood songs and he being a musician probably loathes most of them. So what will you play for him?
She kept scrolling for 5 minutes and by now she realized it was just getting ridiculous. She just tapped play on one of the songs in her playlists. A minute had passed and she had no idea which song was playing because she had frozen waiting for his reaction on the song. Suddenly, he tapped on her shoulder and showed the same song that was playing in his phone's playlist. "Its my favorite too", he mouthed. And that was when she calmed down. After that she just let the playlist play itself out. Both of them enjoyed the songs in silence. Occasionally, he would show her the exact same songs in his playlist and both would share a smile. She knew that she had set things right between them even without sharing any words.
