On our way to get my things, we passed the park where we first have met. He looked at me and smiled I couldn't help but smile back and let out a small laugh. It's like he knew exactly what I was thinking.
"What's so funny (y/n)?" he said smiling.
"This is where I helped you when you, Captain America, got hit by a cyclist and fell." I laughed.
"That wasn't funny. But I'm glad you came to my rescue." he smiled and looked away.
We walked about half an hour before getting to my apartment. I wish we would have walked a bit more to hear about Steve's life story a bit longer. He is such an interesting man. I opened the door to my apartment and invite him in. I turn toward to kitchen and grab my kettle to boil some water for tea.
"Coffee or tea?" I yell out to Steve.
"You don't have to yell. I'm right here." he said standing next to me.
I turned and we were inches away from each other's faces. I quickly moved away and went to grab some mugs.
"So what will it be Captain?" I tried to not look at him while I was blushing.
"I'll have some coffee ma'am." he said as he sat at the kitchen table.
"Don't call me that. It makes me feel old."
"Sorry (y/n), I'm just use to saying it." he said apologetically.
I grabbed the kettle and poured the water into the mugs and prepared the coffee. I sat across from Steve and just stayed quiet for a few minutes.
--Steve's POV--
(Y/n) handed me my coffee and sat across from me. She looks so beautiful just sitting there looking everywhere but at me. I wonder why she doesn't want to look at me. Do I make her feel awkward? Ok, this silence is getting a bit awkward.
"So (y/n), tell me your life story." I say, breaking the silence.
"There's not much to tell. My life is pretty boring." she looked down at her mug.
"I want to know more about you. You already know much about me than most people, so I think it's only fair if you told me something about yourself." I said taking a sip of my coffee.
"Ugh ok fine, I'll tell you something nobody knows." she looked up at me.
"I'm all ears ma'am."
"Tony took me in after he found me in a coma. He said he just felt like he needed to take care of me. It was strange at first because I felt like I knew him from before. I don't remember anything before the coma and it's really frustrating. I try not to think about it. I owe that man my life for all he has done." she said in the most sincere voice.
"I guess Tony isn't the biggest ass after all." I said.
"He still is an ass, but he has a soft spot. You just have to be special for him to show you." she smiled.
This girl is something special. She has caught my attention and I'm glad she did. We talked about each other for a while longer. She talked about her career as a nurse and how she wanted to be a something more in that field. We also learned that we have a lot in common. We both want to help and save people, which is what I do for a living.
--Normal POV--
Who would have thought I had a lot in common with this man. We talked for a while before I actually go to getting the things I needed. I told Steve he was welcome to come with me and keep me company in my room while I packed a few things.
"You can take a seat on my bed while I get my things, if you'd like."
"I'm ok, I'll just take a seat on this chair." Steve seemed a bit nervous.
The last time we were alone was the time we kissed in Tony's basement. I was starting to get a bit nervous now thanks to that thought. I really wish I could relive that moment again though. His kiss was just so amazing. I was so focused on my thought that I didn't see the mess I had on top of a box I needed. Suddenly everything fell on top of me. I yelled and Steve ran to my rescue.
"(Y/n) are you ok?" he said holding me up.
"Um I think all that junk hurt my head a little but I will be alright."
I was once again inches from his face. This time I had nowhere to run to. It was just me and him again face to face alone in a room. Steve look into my eyes and just smiled.
"You know you have the most amazing (y/e/c) eyes I have ever seen." he said.
"Thanks."
I couldn't say anything else. He kept looking at me like if he was painting a picture in his head of every detail on face. He still hadn't let go of me. He slowly leaned in and planted a soft kiss on my lips. He then whispered in my ear.
"You are so beautiful."
I could feel his breath and his smile by my ear. This was too much for me to handle. I felt like I was going to explode if I didn't kiss him like the night before. Steve kissed me again and this time I kissed him back. We could feel the magnetic attraction between us. We couldn't be pulled apart now. Steve gently picked me up like if I were just a feather. I put my arms around his neck and we never stopped kissing, not even for a second. He walked towards my bed and sat down with me on top of him. His hands gently explored my body. Even with my clothes on, I could feel how warm his hands were. I reached for his shirt and pulled it off. I couldn't help but stare at his amazing upper body. I gently placed kisses on his neck and chest. We were lost in the moment and we wanted to get lost in each other. Steve undid my shirt and kissed my shoulder as he slowly took it off. I felt tingles all over my body, and I mean everywhere. Everything was going perfect and nothing could possibly ruin this moment. I shouldn't have thought that because right when we were about to get down to business when the doorbell rang.
